I was at that game is & very emotional. when they lifted sam foltz"s nephews to touch the horse shoe I don't think there was a dry eye in the stadium. What an honor to walk out with the team that loved their uncle. What an honor to be able to walk thru the tunnel & touch the horse shoe & walk on to hallowed ground. I've been a husker fan my whole life... what I would do to be able to walk down the tunnel on to the field.

I was at the spring game that followed Brook Beringers death, I am not gonna compare, both very touching, gut wrenching and heart breaking, as then (for Beringer) my heart and prayers are for the family, friends, coaches and team mates of Sam's. GBR Honoring the memory of great people!
