Most people think music is made to be heard. It's not made to be heard, it's made to be felt.

@@CC2Cents_ A year later but, another thing about this song that I love is that Disturbed are so great at their craft that they can use a medium that isn't in their wheelhouse "poppyish" or "mainstream" music, and use the sensibilities of metal music (smashing you in the face with truth). In this case, in the Heart. It kinda breaks my heart that so many sleep on metal music. Btw, I saw this thumbnail and thought "she's a diva but I'll give it a chance". I couldn't have been more wrong. I guess I should take my own advise and not judge too quickly. I can tell by the slight crack in your voice that this is genuine and real. Simply beautiful. I honestly hope you find some comfort and closure in what you spoke of in your video. This right here is what reaction videos should aspire to. Some sense of real connection or understanding. Cheers. (Sorry so long)

Love your reaction Cece.....you were so sincere. Yes he said: "The time will come when all of us say goodbye Feel that aching in your heart Leaving you broken inside But we're never really gone As long as there's a memory in your mind" Wow, I thought it was just beautiful too!! Thank you!

The first time I heard this was the day after my grandfather's funeral. I was driving to a friend's to get my mind off things, and heard " a new one from disturbed " Nice, my favorite band. " it's called hold on to memories " ... oh boy had to pull over, was crying way too hard, but damn I felt better after

Thanks for your sincere reaction. I love this song too. In Nov, 2020 when you posted this, my sister was dying of cancer and she passed a few months later....this song brings me great comfort. I don't know if you're still reacting, but I'm going to subscribe.

This song hits me like a tonne of bricks every time. So many ghosts, so many to keep alive. Then Disturbed put Already Gone and Uninvited Guest on the same album. Spotify decided to shuffle the three together. Cue one heartbroken old lady on her knees in the mud sobbing. So if, like me, you're the Last Man (Woman) Standing ... don't listen to these three tracks together. They are all beautiful songs that I dearly love ... ALONE!

Genuine reaction, the message is beautiful. Thank you for having an open mind to metal. PTSD has been difficult for others to understand especially myself. Music like this has really been a life savior, and I hope that everyone gets the same positive message from music like this. Thank you for the introspection. Much care and best wishes go out to you and yours.

This song came out a month after I lost my husband of 17 years. He died on New Year's Eve, and our anniversary? Christmas Eve. Believe me, I'm terrified of how I will be in a week or so. Anyway, this song helped me to control my crying. I would listen to it on my time, cry, and get some of it out of my system. Kind of like a pressure release.

Hey there. I just saw your reaction and i am a new sub here as well. I am happy you reacted to Disturbed. This band is fenomenal, even though most of their discography might not be for everybody since they are a metal band. This is one of their mellow songs. But no matter how metal or not their songs are, they always have a powerful mesagge to send to the world. I love this band a lot. Their music helped me for many years to fight depression and very dark thoughts and to go through lots of very bad situations. They are a ray of light in this world. You can listen to more of their songs such as Legion of monsters Innocence In another time A reason to fight (both the offical music video and official live video) Another way to die My child Inside the fire Basically any of their songs are amazing and if you can digest metal music and you will love what they have to offer. If you are not a metal fan, than you can at least appreciate the message in their music, in case you will react to more of their songs. If you did not react to DImash Kudaibergen yet, i strongly advise you to check him out as well. He is the best singer in the world. Most people start listening to him and react to his song SOS.

Yes, the song is fantastic...and I take it to heart. I have 2 siblings that lost children that were only 20 years old. My older brother lost his son due to an accidental overdose of oxycodone. He was recovering from a fractured arm, and he accidentally took too much medication. My youngest brother lost his 20 year old daughter to Sepsis. Both deaths hit all the member's of our family very hard. I painted a landscape painting for my youngest brother to put in her room...Titled : "Amanda's Unfinished Garden" I actually left the background of the painting unfinished. Thank you for your excellent reaction to the song.

Definitely not their normal sound lol. But they are a great band. Their song "Sound of Silence" is freaking awesome 😍 another one "If I Ever Lose Faith in You" which is another cover song. A song called "Reason to Fight" has a amazing msg about the pain of addiction.
