Holden Commodore ABS light on - C0040 - QUICK & EASY

In this video we get a ZB Commodore in that has an intermittent ABS and Traction light on the dash. After finding out they only come on after turning left, we quickly find the cause which appeared to be odd considering such low kms and no signs of damage.

@@romanosautomotive I hear ya! I've got a Passat with an ABS fault at the moment and I'm putting the Pico through it's paces! It's got a wheel speed sensor with a broken wire I'm trying to chase. Not much fun ☹☹

Exactly the same issue with mine right now and yes you still can’t find stock in Australia for these, gonna buy some for the Buick Regal GS which is just the US version of this

Hi mate did you just replace the bearing/sensor hub or the wiring harness. I just see in you mentioned going behind the arch guard. Cheers

Those speed sensors disrupt many systems. Had both front sensors replaced on my 2018 Passat. Triggered about 8 trouble codes.

Right down to collision avoidance light, the red one that flashes up on the screen bottom right hand corner !

More often than not, it's the wires that have become brittle and snapped or are about to snap causing the faults. Junk wiring harness.
