The “script” released online is actually just a word for word transcript of the theatrical release. The real script would have deleted scenes and slight differences in dialogue. So it’s very likely they added in certain observations like the fact that the old man looked like Stan Lee after audiences pointed it out. Not saying they didn’t do it intentionally, but the “script” we saw was put together after release so it’s not really something to go off of.

It would only take a few seconds. 3. Know who Spidey is in MoM? I believe he explicitly says no one knows. 4. Include other people as well? You have to show Matt Multiverse of Madness. Also I disagree with the whole Peter not stopping himself from killing Goblin scene because it has more meaning. That scene has to be Tom’s Peter, Tobey’s Peter, and Dafoe’s Goblin. It had to be Tom’s anger towards the Goblin and Tobey stopping him from making the same mistake of not helping Norman. Even in the first Spider-Man you can see that if it wasn’t for Norman coming back into control to tell Tobey’s Peter to stop he probably would of beaten Norman to death. Also even in some comics if you threaten Peter’s loved ones he will let you know how brutal he is like when Kingpin hurt Aunt May he literally beats Kingpin and I think hit him so hard that he broke his jaw.

Something I found interesting that I haven’t heard any people talk about is that, at least in how I see it, the Aunt May “with great responsibility” lesson is slightly different than the classic Uncle Ben lesson. Here’s why: in this movie, Peter has already taken responsibility and done so much for the world. He’s already been fighting to help people. And now that it was blowing up in his face, he was about to allow that to influence how he behaves in the future. Aunt May reminded him that, even when things go wrong because you’re doing the right thing, you still have a responsibility to do the right thing. Doing the right thing can result in people you love getting hurt, but that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t do the right thing. This is fundamentally different than the Uncle Ben version, and I think that it was all the more brilliant for it.

Good to see you guys back together! In my opinion the biggest problem with this movie is Dr. Strange. This movie tried to tell through Strange himself that it was Peter' fault for messing up the spell but it was Strange who rushed it for no reason at all. ENTIRE issue with the multiverse could be resolved with Strange simply explaining to Peter what is the plan beforehand and discussing what is the desired result and only THEN starting to cast to spell. Instead he put him in a postition where Peter had no time to think or understand the situation while having sensory overload - I hate when ppl are doing that, especially in a workplace...(luckily i dont have to deal with that anymore lol) Its a completely different Dr. Strange that was presented in previous movies and I dont understand what happend. I wanted to see some explanation to his behaviour but there was none.
@wisygirlywopitty7702 жыл бұрын
I agree with everything but i believe that you forgot one thing. Strange is arrogant. Extremely arrogant ( you can see it in his first film ). He managed to defeat thanos, and the bad guy of his movie, so , from his point of view of course its gonna be easy to cast a simple memory spell for him right ? And again, because he was arrogant, he made the mistake of thinking he could control everything.... AGAIN... Boy he never learns 😂

For Jeremy, per Wandavision, The Scarlet Witch's power exceeds that of the Sorcerer Supreme according to the Darkhold. Possibly a reason why Strange couldn't just make her forget her kids. Holden jen everybody I've been going through a really tough time lately so I just wanted to say thank you for this video. Perfect timing. It just gave me a break and it's just idk your videos always make my days better. They're entertaining and funny to watch. I just love how similar me and Holden are when it comes to marvel movies. Cuz Holden knows all these things about the movies that I know that I didn't think anyone else knew so it kinda blows my mind. Your videos are just always enjoyable and I really needed a good video to watch today. I hope things get better because it hasnt been a fun week for me but thank you for all the content Holden. You and your team are very much appreciated

On what Prime said: I initially thought Strange was trying to teach Peter a lesson causing all the mayhem but turns out I was wrong. Strange also somewhat messed up! Also, Peter said to Strange, "make everyone for get who I am". I doubt it would extend to all the Peter's across the multiverse

As much as I absolutely love this movie, I feel like everything could have been prevented if Peter asked for Mysterio to be forgotten at the very start.

I think the feeling everyone had towards Peter would have stayed though. The Daily Bugle and other new stations had already been spread across the world and some of them most likely didn't hear about the Mysterio part but just the fact he's Spider-Man. Just how I feel about it

The spell didn’t erase Peter Parker from existence, it just erased him from everyone’s minds - it made everyone who knew him forget him, so he still exists and would have a social security number. In theory, he could be able to prove who he is to Happy because there should still be a paper trail of connection from May to him, but that would be if she was actually his aunt and not just the woman who took him in, that’s never been confirmed in the MCU version. He can of course tell everyone who knows Spider-man by just taking off his mask with them, so he really should do that with Strange who should remember he did a spell with spider-man (and even in Multiverse of Madness he references the spell at one point) but maybe not remember what the spell was or just that it scrubbed his now secret identity from everybody’s memory. Either way, it was a brilliant way to essentially reset spider-man back to basic spider-man, and I look forwards to seeing what they come up with for future movies..

No…I honestly don’t understand how hard is for people to understand how the spell works, they LITERALLY told us everything we needed to know. After Dr. Strange does the spell they gave us a scene with JJJ saying that Spider-Man should unmask himself and tell everyone who he is, if he is truly a hero…THAT already told you that there’s no record of him and that includes footage, pictures, documents, everything that has Peter Parker in it. “Strange: It’s like you never existed” why is it so hard is for people to understand? People know the superhero Spider-Man but for the world Peter Parker doesn’t exist, it’s that easy. Then later they even showed you that Peter had a GED book because all his records are gone. It’s super simple.

Yeah, I don’t get why everyone seems to forget that it’s a memory spell; not a reality-altering spell
@gagedsm2 жыл бұрын
@@reynaldolorenzo8409 it’s a MEMORY SPELL. How the hell does a MEMORY SPELL erase physical things. The spell more than likely creates a mental block kind of a thing where documents and past Daily Bugle stuff are changed in a person’s mind to just be about Spider-Man. We know for a fact that documents of Peter’s existence are still around, as Peter is renting an apartment, to do that in New York, you need a valid ID

Glad to see almost the OG gang back together!! Love that Matt got to enjoy it like everyone & not say it’s mediocre. Holden if you think Zendaya acting is too Disney. I recommend you & Jenn to watch HBO Euphoria. For the 1st season it’s the most realistic show of a teenager discovering themselves & there are people who do make bad choices that can affect others.

i think my favorite thing about the goblin fight scene in the apartment is that william dafoe said that he would only come back if he could do his stunts and not just have them cgi the whole fight and I that scene is one of the best in the whole movie.
@DrawTheLine352 жыл бұрын
Matt had one criticism that I really agreed with. I really wanted Tom Holland's Spider-Man to choose to not kill Goblin, rather than have Tobey intervene. I wanted to see him take May's words to heart, and it felt like they fell on deaf ears. I would have had him holding the glider up in the air ready to kill Goblin, when he sees the other Spidermen, or even possibly MJ/Ned in the background, which then makes him choose not to. That would have given her death more meaning, in my opinion.
@nathansossai2 жыл бұрын
People say that but forget Tobey killed all his villains. Andrew too.
@DrawTheLine352 жыл бұрын
@@nathansossai Tobys villains died, but they were mostly the villains unintentionally killing themselves. The bank robber at the beginning of the 1st movie tripped and Toby could have saved him but didn't. That's his worst offense, he didn't actively stab someone. Andrew with Electro... good point
