I’m old and I don’t think I know one Taylor Swift song or even lyric, but I loved this! Love that Kim went with Lola! In my high school years I saw Queen, David Bowie and a whole lot of others. Cannot imagine my mom going to any one of those concerts. Especially in sequins.
@DragonsRUs1414 Жыл бұрын
Could you please tell a little bit about your Queen concert experience?! He has a super special place in my heart, but I was born a little to late to make it to his concerts. Was Freddie the great entertainer he often was? Thank you!
@TravelSmallLiveBig Жыл бұрын
@@DragonsRUs1414 it was at The Forum in Los Angeles over Christmas / New Years break - had to be 1978. Came out on stage initially to the stomping & clapping of “we will, we will rock you” in his bodysuit. I remember they took an intermission and he came out singing the lyrics “I’m dreaming of a white Christmas”. He was an incredible entertainer and his voice was so clear! I also saw David Bowie, The Beach Boys & Kansas over the same break. I have no idea how I was able to afford it or my parents let me go an hour to LA & beyond, but concerts were affordable then. Steve Perry of Journey was the other incredible entertainer - saw them several times. I wish I had a list of all of the concerts I saw in those days!
@DragonsRUs1414 Жыл бұрын
@@TravelSmallLiveBig Thank you so much for sharing your memories! I think entertainment back then was a bit more for the masses then necessarily for the money back then, so maybe concert goers could do more for less. I'm glad you got to experience them all!

BTW the way your kid looked at Taylor is how I looked at Dave Grohl at the Foo Fighters show my husband and I went to over Memorial Day weekend … we were 2nd row bc I insisted we camp out for 5 hours to get our spot. I screamed “I love you” to him when he came out and he blew a kiss to everyone but obviously mostly me. Then I swear he looked directly at me for a good 5-7 seconds. My husband knows Dave and I will get married if we both find ourselves single. This is in no way related to your video but I’m telling everyone, so … yeah.
