I've found that Donn Yost's method works best for me. Take a 1.5" diameter x 8" long metal pipe. Simply pad one end with tape (sticky side up) and place your car body there. With your non-spraying hand, you can easily rotate the pipe to cover all sides of the body. A plus is that due to the weight of the pipe, it's hard to tip over once it's set down for drying. On mine, I added a 2" coupler at the base to give it even more stability when it is standing up.

Thanks for another video from you ELP. I used to use the spray can method until a few years ago but then I bought the Tamiya one and am using that right now, although sometimes I tend to revert back to the can method with certain body types! I also heard about using a 1" diameter metal pipe instead of the spray can but I've never tried it!

I use the paint can method, humbrol sprays are crap in terms of the actual paint so I use the cans as body holders !

I'm using a beer bottle instead of a spray can lol. the rim is really small so you're not missing that much of the top interior

I will mount chassis pans and interior tubs/floors to spray paint cans, but all bodies go on the Tamiya paint stand.

I haven't used my Tamiya holder yet, but I have the wire coat hanger. I used to set mine in a wine bottle after painting, but I like your method better. Wait, does anyone even make wire hangers anymore?

I do the spray can one. It's pretty effective until the model starts separating from the tape.

I currently tape craft sticks to the inside of the car and stick them into a block of foam.

Great! . Subbed! I´m stating with cars. I love scale model cars, but I always did aircraft and tanks, so for me the cars are dificult. I use Enamel Humbrol paint (I have Metallic collection, saved for start making cars), but I can´t find what finish gloss coat use over them. I bought a couple of car lacquers but they ruined the enamel paint. ¿what do you think?. I always can change to tamiya or another lacquer or acrylic, but first I want to use my Enamel paints so I don´t waste that money. I hope there is a solution. And then, about changing paint, ¿what direction should I take if I want to do cars? ¿Tamiya?. Sure in your videos I´ll lear much more, but a quick tip can save me so much time!! Thanks!!!

I use a toilet paper thing that you get when you run out of TP then I tape it. I paint outside but I have to dry inside because it's light and will fall easily which sucks
