Thanks for this Rickey, I had to leave a lot of people alone for doing exactly what you just said. You're right too, they do try to speed talk and/or talk over you when you call them out on it.

I agree, because there was a lady I stopped talking to. she said some nasty words to me - one day she tells me in front of a group of women, I didn't talk to nobody. At that time she was referring to she and myself. I made it clear - I talk to everyone who know how to talk to me. Case close.

I’m pretty good with saying miss me with the BS, just In facial expressions. People know their intent and reason for their actions. I consider it as pressing someone’s boundaries. If you don’t have anything positive or encouraging to say. It’s best not to say anything at all. We are all held accountable for our actions at the end of the day.

I'm having a problem with a toxic 26 yr old daughter. I try to redirect the conversation about what crap she has said but she says I didn't hear it right, blah blah. I recently listened to a video you made about adult kids being entitled. It's time for her to get on out on her own and let society teach her what's gonna happen.

I sounds like it's a matter of accountability and about boundaries. Sometimes people you barely know expect you to behave in a way as you would with someone you have a history with. They see your comfortable with one person and expect that same kind of energy for no valid reason. It's a sign of the times we live in. Everyone moves so fast and skip steps that shouldn't be skipped in the name of instant gratification. You have to learn to protect yourself and be comfortable in doing so.

It took me wayyy too long to learn this lesson in life! I was always the type to let it go and just shake my head. It NEVER got better...it got worse! People start thinking they can just do that to you all the time and say what they want to you. That "pecking order" crap happens the moment you meet people -- and it always starts out with a backhanded comment followed by, "...just kidding!".

Good morning, this is true and when I say something and it’s out of pocket I want it to be addressed, I don’t mind correction, I don’t normally say things that’s out of character but I’m a imperfect person , people make mistakes, not intentionally but it happens. I’m not one to manipulate words , but I’m a person that will speak my mind and say what I mean and mean what I say , I don’t like having to apologize for anything I’ve said JS.

CONFIRMATION! It's called "shady/shade." You have to let folks know; you felt some type of way and you're calling them out on it. Hold them accountable for the words they speak. Ultimately, people know what they're saying and doing yet they try to deflect and wiggle their way outta the situation. Nah, I'm addressing it whether you like it or not. All boils down to RESPECT.🙂
