I don't care how long the videos are. I'm just so glad you're posting again mate! I think you are a greedy player. But! You most often are able to recognise that in most cases the gold and exp is more valuable in your hands since you are a more experienced player than most on the game. In terms of team value that gives you stonks. The down side is you're putting a team mate who in most cases, is already behind, even further behind. It's making the game harder for them which can be frustrating. Sometimes it is a necessary evil to win though. I don't see it as a bad thing. It's just the nature of smite matchmaking. If you were paired with teams that were equally skilled I don't think you'd need to explain the value to others and they would understand the play and try make a play somewhere else on the map since they've been given time until the next wave. Keep the vids coming!

In the LoL community we call it taxing the wave, or taxing the lane. You're providing a service in creating pressure in their lane, but you're missing out on gold/exp from the jungle, so you take a lane tax to stay ahead

Mic issues: if it's a little bit of noise in the background what it could be is phantom power when your mic doesn't need it. Some mics require a power source that audio recording/mixing consoles can provide and you might have bumped it on while moving. Look for a button that says something like 'P7V' (phantom 7 volts). Another good trouble shoot is if there is any kind of EQ you can mess with set everything at 0 and work from there.

I think, as you get into more ranked and start playing with Masters players, you'll be much more willing to initiate a fight for your teammates because you can trust their ability to perform for you. For now, in stinky casuals, play for the best player in the lobby (which is you)
