Love this build. I have virtually the same setup. And, your auger/clam plate combo is exactly what I use. Got me pumped because I never see anyone using a Mora (let alone with a clam plate)! Sometimes it’s pulled behind the wheeler and have snapped ski tips with the role tied into it. Went back to having the rope on the upright. Great stuff. You Nailed It!

Pretty neat! This winter in west Michigan has been a major disappointment... been having to go north this year...

I actually made one of these based off your 1.0 and I gotta say Thank You! I drop a small jetsled in the middle and use it like a smitty to get out on the hardwater. I leave the jetsled and take the "hole hopper" out!

I love the build man. Next year I may have to do something similar. I love that you just have to drill a hole and drop in the transducer. Since I do KZbin I could build in a camera mount too. Currently when I hole hop I have to reset up my ‘ducer and camera. It’s not hard, but this would be way better. Nice job.

Nice updates! Not sure if this would work, but could you carry some rods in the upright PVC pipes that are part of your auger holder?

That was a thought I had also. I think doing one on the handle side would be okay otherwise I'd be afraid the rod would get broke if you weren't careful putting down the auger.

@Nailed it! Builds what if you used 2x4s instead of pvc with a groove for the auger shaft? Could drill rod holes at any angle. Also would it be easier to pull with auger mounted on the back?
