Hole Nine Break: What do you think of these disc golf tournaments?

Here is the 16th installment of the Hole Nine Break Series! Have you played in a flex start tournament? On paper they look awesome but are they what they seem to be? What is your experience, or do you refuse to play in them?

Playing in a flex start tournament at Etowah in a few weeks. I like the flex starts, it helps with a busy life and time constraints for sure! Hope you are doing well!

flex start keeps us playing vs waiting … good point on the honor system, along with we need score integrity. ..but as a 700 rated player , it ain’t about the score

Flex starts are very fun! I like the opportunity to get a rated round and the ability to compete without spending my whole day at the course. I’m still current with the pdga because of the existence of flex start tournaments. I also play in ma3 for what it is worth

Flex starts definitely have their place in the disc gold world! They are great in many areas
