Timothee doesn’t see it that way but realizes that people think it looks that way so he tells them to get their head out of the gutter and grow up. Hope that helped :)

The Lightning McQueen joke was actually really dark if you read the subtitles, and I think Timothee Chalomet changed what was on the cue cards. The implication was that he was taken advantage of by a guy in a Lighting McQueen costume. He was supposed to say "in my defense I was drunk".
