If it was my grandmother's voice, he'd be right! What a scary old broad she was. Her funeral was surreal. It was a normal memorial, up until the preacher told the story of how my grandmother slapped the shit out of him! He went on to say that perhaps she mistook him for her late husband. MEE-OOW! The community knew how abusive she was towards her long-suffering husband (my poor, sweet Granddaddy!), but were afraid to say anything until then. Once that preacher said his piece, several folks took a turn at the microphone and shared their "me too" stories. I always thought that could be made into a funny skit.
