Wrestling is supposed to be art, not mindless violence 24/7.

@@TripleFourSC The people that played it at Gamescon say differently. There's a thread on Twitter from a fan and Evil Uno whose a massive No Mercy says it plays like No Mercy. They actually have the director from Virtual Pro Wrestling 2, No Mercy, Def Jam Vendetta, etc, Geta-san and some of his colleagues working on it. They have actual AKI DNA. I wish 2K would try to make one instead of their dull as games doing now 🤷🏿 Returning features from the original AKI series include the spirit meter, seated moves, recovery attacks, grappled strikes, Revenge Rope slide, key frame animations likely drawn by Geta-san, fighting stances,.strike blocks camera angles and effects, etc If you're just basing it on aesthetics you can see bits of No Mercy, Day of Reckoning/Wrestle Kingdom (themselves AKI style games with AKI/No Mercy asst director Shunsuke Katsumata and Takumi Kon,) and the Def Jam games like the large hands.
