A few years ago I made a big batch of these for Christmas presents along with fudge! Everyone absolutely loved them said they were so delicious! I also made a batch one time and had them in a ziplock bag and took them on the plane with me when I flew to Florida. I had two bags with me and I opened up one of the bags and passed it around to my friends that were with me and we were all going on a cruise to the Bahamas together! My friends absolutely loved those cinnamon roasted pecans. They said that was one of the nicest things that I done for all of them. My problem is when I start eating them I don't know when to quit! LOL

I wonder if we could do a cold smoke or a hot smoke for like an hour or 30 minutes to give them a smokey flavor with the indoor counter appliance smoker. Someone lucky enough to have the Oster Smoker Roaster before they got discontinued could try that or use the awesome indoor smoker like mine.

First time making these, and I have two words to say. THANK YOU!!!! I didn't have enough pecans to make a pound, so I improvised with adding walnuts. I followed it to a T. And my boyfriend couldn't stop eating them, until I had to take it away, due to his diabetes. Speaking of sugar. I went 1/4 cup white and 1/4 cup brown sugars instead of all white. It tastes so much better than those boxed Crackerjack, Fiddle Faddle and Crunch 'n Munch put together. I've been wanting to make these for a long time, and finally. May you both enjoy your festivities. Don't drink and drive. Stay home and be safe. We want to see more in the New Year.
