In the future, more people will choose to go on holiday in their own country and not travel abroad on holiday.
Do you agree or disagree?
Some argue that people will prefer traveling around their own country rather than going abroad for holidays. This essay strongly disagrees with this opinion because the advantages of improved transportation and cravings for exploring new things will motivate people to travel beyond their national boundaries.
To begin with, transport and communication media are being improved incredibly over the recent decades, and it will keep constantly upgrading, as a result, people will find it easy to travel abroad more frequently. For example, countries are making visa processing smoother, minimizing international flight time, and easing foreign tourism to attract travelers from different countries. Furthermore, as technology has developed, traveling costs will be reduced, and it will become more affordable to general people. Therefore, people - who cannot afford to travel abroad - will be able to make it comfortably considering the declined cost. Likewise, as the travel time is being declined, the people - who cannot travel for a longer time - will be able to do it by harnessing the fast transportation revolution across the world.
In addition, the world has become more integrated and engaged than ever before. Nowadays, there are so many countries which invite and give incentives to the people who travel to their countries. It is noticeable that many nations are built with people of so many races and regions. This variation can enrich a destination country’s ethnic and cultural diversity and give the taste of exploration to the visitors in tandem. These things will definitely work as catalysts behind motivating people to travel to various nations, rather than just touring around their home countries.
In conclusion, I strongly believe that people in future will go for more international travelling, rather than merely touring their home countries. Revolutionary improvement of communication and the interest of cross-cultural exploration could be the key reasons behind people’s motivation to visit different nations.
