As someone who started crocheting amigurumi this year, also just for the fun if it, I absolutely think your heart is in the right place working with the kids. I donated over 100 amigurumi to a local charity that helps give families in need Christmas. Sure, could I sell them and make money? Yes. But that's more work than I want to do. I'm happy making my cute animals and hopefully making some kids super happy come Christmas. ❤ Thank you for sharing and best of luck in all the narkets you choose to do!

This was such a heartwarming video. I enjoyed every bit of it. And honestly sometimes it is so nice to do something extra. For these kids with the 15$ you absolutely made their day. Thank you for sharing this. On my first market there was this little girl that had 4€ to spend and she did want some of the coins back. So I showed her some of the plushies that were a bit further away and sold her a whale for 3€ and she was so happy. Kids are so adorable and honest. It is lovely to see. At my last craft fair there was a girl about 12 years old, her dad sells at this craft fair too, who sells car fresheners and she made some money selling her car fresheners so she came over and bought 3 things and I remember her from last year, she bought a couple things from me so this year I threw in for free a macaw parrot as she loves birds and her eyes just lit up when I did that and it made me so very happy to see how happy she was.

I’d like to make a suggestion I hope you’ll find it helpful. I put price tags on everything including what the item is. That way I just collect the tags (inventory tags) off of them and not have to worry about writing things down. After the market we just look at all the tags. Makes things much easier especially if you are by yourself. Good luck. Love your videos. The passion is real.

I’ve been looking forward to your market recap and am so happy it went well for you! I figured that life got busy and you just couldn’t find the time so I was happy to wait. So nice that you could share that event with your daughter. Those are the fond memories that we look back upon years later and reminisce. How special that RatBear found a home with a special little girl. I saw him on your Etsy page and had contemplated buying him because he was so unique. I hope that Eli will get your manatee. Kids are my favorite at markets! Whatever they call the plushies is what they are lol If that's what they think it is and that's what made them happy then that is what the plushie is! STORY TIME: (I have 2 from my last market) I had a little girl come over and buy a hat and then ran off with her mom while her sister was still looking around. The little girl comes back to tell her sister something and sees an Octo I made out of the same yarn and she opened her mouth so wide and sprinted back off to get her mom. Needless to say this little girl went around collecting the change from her mom and dad as they looked at the other vender's booths and came back when she had enough for her Octo and she carried that thing around with her adorable matching Bucket hat on and IT WAS SO CUTE!!!! Then I had two little girls who were the daughters of one of the lady across from us. They had been over to our table several times and then finally they come back over with a $20 and were looking and discussing stuff. Well the cheapest things I had left were $10. So the spotted a bee and gave me the $20 and asked for two $5 bills back. Then they proceeded to run back over to their mom and give her the bee (she was selling honey and beeswax candles). My fiance looks at me and asked me if they had just spent their money on a bee for their mom and I told him yes. We shared a tearful look because their mom was so surprised and happy that when the girls came back over we gave them their $10 back. They then proceeded to both get them a plushie and ran back over to their mom to show her what they got. It's safe to say that this market was my all time favorite solely because of the kids and just how sweet they all were!!!
