I too made the penguin in the Dino costume. I think it is super adorable! I have to have that mouse patter, super adorable. I have a bronco pattern that I’ve had no trouble with. I will give you the link when I look it up. Love the care bear, yellow is becoming one of my fave colors but it’s not used often. I personally love the leggy frogs, already sold several and I haven’t done a market yet. I actually made one on the plane today traveling to Rhode Island to see family. With the panda you can put black makeup around his eyes. That’s how my snowman pattern suggested for rosy pink cheeks and he turned it adorable.

For your little panda try adding a black felt circle behind the eyes. I love the little mouse pattern he makes up fast as well, I have bought s few from that designer. I made the penguin and took him to 3 markets i think so far and he’s still here. Everyone comments how cool it is but they dont want to pay the £20 price tag xx

I really love your videos! I love how you really take time and showing us the items and talkin about each one in detail! I agree one hundred percent on the Hedgehog I have made three of them and I have a fourth one started and everytime I look at it I put it back and say no can't handle that today! LOL and I have a question, I have never used blanket yarn I tried once and it feels like it sticks to my hook LOL please tell me the best and easiest blanket yarn to work with and what hook you feel works the best...❤

Thank you!!! Yes, that hedgehog is quite the endeavor 🤣🤣. He’s so cute though! Ok, I am a huge fan of Furls odyssey hooks, sadly they are super hard to come by these days! They work really well for my large hands. As for blanket yarn, Bernat is so inconsistent! The Bernat Baby Blanket is Sand, has been a dream for me to work with. No stickiness or drag at all! I’m hoping they are working towards all of the colors and styles being that soft!

Hi there. I checked the lot number on my white parfait chunky it's 9208. I haven't worked with that lot yet and I threw away the sleeve on the one I hated, so I don't know what lot that was. 24:45. Frogs; I like the ones with bigger eyes. Long legs are cute, but so are short. The "booty frog" is cute, but I like the big eyed ones more n bc they look more froggy. I LOVED the hedgehog and the butterfly!! They're unique and have a personality! Too bad they were difficult..but maybe you could figure out a way to make.them easier. I think they would sell! I'd buy them!!! 😂❤❤(and I don't usually buy crafts at shows. I like to go to get ideas)

So far I've learned to make a.magic.circle, crochet in a spiral, read a simple pattern and make a semi successful but not quite round ball! 🤣😲 I was crocheting a granny square blanket for my brand new grandson, watching crocheting videos on KZbin and stumbled across amigurumi!! Here's the ADD part; I suddenly lost interest in the blanket and am now . obsessed with the idea of making amigurumi dinosaurs for the nursery! 🤣🤣 It's dinosaur themed. I've been watching channels like yours to learn more about amigurumi 😊💕💕

Great work on everything. I love your monsters! They are great. I like your frog much better than the leggy frogs. I know, Leggy frogs are popular-but not for me. I think crocheting the eyes, for Mike the monster, is a better way to go then felt. Personally, I do not like seeing felt on crochet items. It just takes away from the appearance.

I think maybe some of the crochet channels you are learning from may be misinforming you. The rie count and stitch count should never be altered in a pattern. I am very familiar with the patterns from the designer of the penguin. Her patterns are meticulous. Tension in a project should be consistent throughout. Being new to crochet and going directly to animuguri may be the issue because there is no swatch guage. May I suggest practicing rows of stitches in a blanket to get your tension consistent. I have been crocheting for 50 years and stsrted at 5. The quickest way to get those projects perfect is practicing the same stitch over and over, then moving on to the next stitch until you build your knowledge.

Respectfully, the charm of handmade items is in the tiny inconsistencies. They aren’t mass market, factory made plushies. They are made with love in each stitch. I say, do what you love and enjoy. When I got my white parfait chunky I was so happy because I waited so long since they were out of stock for forever. And it was HORRIBLE! So disappointed. I saw another KZbin channel say something similar. It has to be the entire cycle (mine is lot 285) but the same issue, we all got cruddy quality. They should send everyone who got some a coupon or something. I may just go with Honey Bunny from Hobbi from now on if this is what they’re putting out. 🤷‍♀️

I’m a bit weird about needing to finish a project before I start a new one. 🤣. I’m trying to train myself to batch make certain things (like all the turtle pieces for several turtles at the same time!). I crochet every single day for at least a couple hours. Had the SAME issue but with the parfait XL, email them and have pictures, and have the lot number and color name in the email. Very disappointed.

Yeah, same. I just want my yarn to play with. Thankfully they replaced my XL. Though, I live literally 2 hours from where the stuff ships so waiting 2 weeks sometimes for it to ship is ARRGGGGG! lol but the stuff is so nice to work with ... when the quality is on point. @@YarnandWhimsyDesigns
