Yum, a new version of minestrone. Usually by Saturday after thanksgiving, we've eaten so much turkey that we're done till next thanksgiving!! But this is a new recipe for me. This soup looks so good! You caught my attention at the beginning when you threw that bacon in the pot.😂 And I love this kitchen. I remember it so well. I love the panel door refrigerator and the farmhouse sink in the corner and that beautiful fireplace. I did notice you changed your countertops out. The old countertops were darker. But I also remember another kitchen you had even before this one. I loved that kitchen too. It was smaller. I hate moving too. I don't blame for not wanting to move ever again. ❤️

Hey Paula, guess what we had for supper last night? Turkey 🦃 minestrone soup.... but I did deviate because I didn't have everything and didn't want to go to store, it was snowing here in Cookeville TN last night. We got a couple of inches snow. Lol anyway, I used turnip greens instead of spinach, red beans, rosemary instead of a bay leaf, pasta I had on hand but it was good. My family loved it! Thank you 😊. I have watched your shows for years and I'm sure enjoying your videos now! "Can't keep a good southern woman down for long!" In my opinion, what they did to you was pure bullshit. Love ya Paula!

Nice video. Paula looks pretty and refreshed. It's nice seeing people like Paula who are "getting on in years" staying in the public eye, coming here on youtube...It's a shame when older people just kind of "disappear" from the radar or seem to "check out." Love this kitchen! Thank you so much for the recipes! Now I've got to decide if I want some yummy soup or delicious salad with my leftover turkey. lol I will have to use fresh kale and carrots instead of spinach (if there isn't enough kale, I can use canned spinach) and zucchini (just ate the last of it), but I think it will be ok. My 2 cents here! I would add carrots and green beans! a can of diced tomatoes instead of paste. some olive oil. oregano and basil, or just summer savory or just chervil. But I do like to mix it up so its never the same.
