Also if your tomato is too small, I slice them in quarters and lay in circle, put the salad on top. Looks yummy Miss Paula❤

This brings me back 45 years ago when chicken salad stuffed tomatoes was a special lunch my mother in law and I enjoyed together. A beefsteak tomato, picked fresh from the vine, still warm from the sun, stuffed with a simply made chicken salad. I still love a good old fashioned chicken salad instead of most types these days made with grapes and pecans added. Doesn’t get any better than this, Miss Paula. Great idea as a wrap! That way the lettuce will actually get eaten too! Not wasted. The way Paula did it in and on the tomato and lettuce is so “1970’s wasteful”!

I have a GREAT recipe for STUFFED TOMATOES too Paula. Wash your tomatoes and core them. Also pull out all seeds. Take equal parts bread crumbs ( your choice) and salad oil, add your seasoning of choice (I use Italian) mix together until saturated - and fill your tomato with the mixture. Sprinkle them with white cheese of your choice, more seasoning and boil until the cheese turns brown. You have got to try this - it's so delicious that we eat it all year long 😊🙂😊

You can use cherry tomatoes and make appetizers with them, usually have to take a thin slice off the bottom to get them to stand up right. Made a bunch for a wedding reception with cherry tomatoes and everybody and their sister wanted them like that for their gathering. I like to put chicken, garlic powder, green onions, pecans, mayo, salt and pepper, sometimes will add grapes.
