I am so sick with a horrible upper respiratory crud right now. Your sweet cheerful voice, a hot cup of tea and following along your tutorials has been a "warm escape" in my day between my Nyquil comas. Thank your for sharing your talent and so many great tips! PS- I treat the cute critters as kinda real too! ;)

Initially I thought the lights around the ice rink were people in the stands. Then when you started sharing your scenario, I began seeing your bear and penguin group as possible sky divers. Why they would have ice skates on, I'm not sure, maybe making a grand entrance! As always, a very enjoyable trip with you and your imagination!

You are very talented, Sanfy! I love seeing you work, and I love that you're willing to take the time to film your process and share. I always pick up greast tips which help me improve with various mediums. One of the biggest thing I picked up from watching you work is to not stress about being so precise. I look at the way you color and you don't slow down to follow the lines super precisely and yet your results are always amazing. I've started doing that as well and I'm amazed that my cards are not worse for it, but actually better! I also want to tip my hat to you for sending out so many cards. So many cardmakers only make cards and barely send out any, which is mind-blowing to me. I send out about a hundred each year, but you've got me beat with your 250!!

So cute!! Love your explanation of the bear vs. size of penguins! That's how the creative mind works, cause I can relate. I can also relate to the roller skating story! Although I didn't break my wrist, I sprained it badly. Was really a challenge driving a stick shift home! TFS

Good morning Sandy! I would like to know what pen, pencil or tool you are using on paper to apply this baby oil on the drawing already painting. I see that it is a white canopy but I don't know what it is? And can this oil be applied on watercolor pencils or any colored pencil? Thanks 😊

Hi Sandy 😊 Thank you very much for your reply. I am a follower of your page, for some days and I absolutely loved everything. I am interested in being able to take an online course with you or in person if necessary. But my language is not English. I only speak and understand Spanish. I am Colombian and I have lived here in the United States for a couple of months.

Good morning Sandy,such a beautiful card.I just started using my colored pencils.Would you please tell me the name of the class for colored pencils you mentioned,I couldn't hear what you said.Thank you so much.
@aartadventure5 жыл бұрын
She used faber-castell polychromos pencils, but there are many other very good brands that are far more affordable. Prismacolor premiere pencils are a great option if you live in the USA.

Hi Sandy! Why not just spatter on your snow? Would save all those plastic trees!
@SandyAllnock15 жыл бұрын
When spattering, the fluids have to be wet enough to splatter; that wrinkles the paper.
@pink25poppies13 жыл бұрын
So nice to see colored pencils instead of markers! 2 questions- why baby oil rather than gamsol? And i notice when i use gamsol it blends too well- removes variations of color (ex will blend the lighter/darker shades). How do you avoid that?
@SandyAllnock13 жыл бұрын
Baby oil smells better 😂 And any blending by nature creates an ‘average’ of two colors. Darks get lighter, lights get darker. It’s one reason I often don’t use any blending solution...I care more about dimension than smoothness.
@pink25poppies13 жыл бұрын
@@SandyAllnock1 ah same! And yes definitely smells better!

She said she uses Stonehenge drawing paper for colored pencils. If you click the "Show More" link in the video description & scroll down to the supply list, there are links there for everything she used. Hope this helps! :)
