Fantastic product recommendations! I always watch your videos with pen and paper ready. I usually follow your skincare recommendations, but it's fun to see what makeup products you like.

Hello Sam! Thank you very much for your videos! I am following your advice and saw an amazing change in my skin texture and appearance! I was wondering if I should stop my retinol for the two weeks that I am visiting Greece in the summer...I noticed you didn't mention any retinols in the above video.

Hi Dr Sam, I am so into SPF products and one of my favourites so far is Paula's Choice Clear Ultra-Light Daily mattifying fluid SPF 30+. It goes on smoothly and doesn't break me out or make me shiny. Also, I love Paula's Choice Moisture Boost daily restoring complex SPF 30. I use SPF everyday and use this when my skin needs a little more moisture. Shelley

I love Paula's Choice as well. They are my holy grail products!

Oh my gosh, I won't use any other suncream on my face as I don't have the same faith as I have for Paula's SPFs. Though, I was on holiday last week and I tried a brand called MooGoo SPF 30 from my local chemist for the body with a very high zinc oxide content and it worked a dream and I was in temperatures as high as 37°. Hard to rub in because of no silicone but once you do, it's worth the time. Shelley x

Dr Sam, thank you for sharing your personal favorite products! It is very interesting and informative to see what a professional dermatologist do use. I was wondering what hydrating cream/treatment you took with you for night time? One more question - is it appropriate and safe to use Avene Triacneal at night while on holiday with SPF 50 protection during the day? Looking forward for your upcoming videos!

+Hristova My thinking is that lots of people live in hot countries 365 days a year and make smart sun choices accordingly, to protect their face and prevent ageing. So if you follow this principle through, there's no need to change skincare habits whilst on holiday.

What's the style of your Helen Kaminski called? Is that also UPF 50+? Thanks, Dr Sam!

Hi Sam, What do you suggest for a typical workday in the city. I live in Washington DC and our summers are brutal. I apply an SPF 50 in the morning and carry my hat with me. I am out in the sun in the morning and at lunch time. However the thought of reapplying a heavy SPF on my oily made up face makes me cringe. What so you suggest? I hear so much about the importance of reapplying.
@DrSamBunting9 жыл бұрын
+Manuela Herrera I recommend tinted SPF and skipping foundation - then its easier to reapply if you're forced to be sun-exposed in the strong hours of UV between 11am and 3pm. A hat and sunglasses are also vital.

Thank you Dr. Sam, I will def look for a tinted SPF! :-)

Is the obagi sunscreen water and sweat resistant for holidaying?
@DrSamBunting9 жыл бұрын
+geo5330 No - try the Epionce one mentioned in my favourite sunscreens video if water-resistance is needed.
