Holland America Line - What to pack & dress code!

This is our short video on what to pack in your case and the dress code for Holland America Line Cruise Lines. We've been on Oosterdam for 7 weeks and Nieuw Statendam for a month, and the dress code applied to both, so this video will apply to all ships in the Holland fleet. Hope it helps!

We have spent a couple months on Holland America this year. The orange party is interesting. It seems like they’re stuck between a classic splash of orange and an all out wacky dress contest.

@@welltravelledlife it’s growing on us we like the speciality options especially Tamarind. Some of the staff seem unhappy on here though, last year on Oosterdam they were like one big family. Think it may be filtering down from the top…

We were on the Noordam for 3 months last year and met some of our favorite crew members. We were on the Nieuw Statendam for the month of July and a bunch of our favorite crew were on the ship with us. Tamarind is the absolute best - and it's one of the reasons we resist the smaller ships. When we're on there for months we really miss Tamarind and NY Pizza and Deli. @@theposhtravelblog

Thank you for this video! I have two Holland America cruises coming up (December 2024, May 2025). The December cruise will be my first Holland America cruise. Does Holland America have sparkling water onboard or do I need to bring my own cans of it?

There are no Formal nights on a two week voyage. There are typically two Dressy nights per week on sea days.
