It does. Princess have such small cabins. Their basic balcony ( like this) is far smaller

QUESTION FOR ANYONE. My ship will be coming into Southampton for 9 hours. The excursion for HAL to London is sold out. I really want to go to London. Any ideas? I have to be on the ship by 6PM.

There is trains but that would be a real gamble as no guarantee on getting back on time. A private excursion/taxi but that would cost a lot! Personally it is a long way from Southampton and we would not take the risk. Such a shame the HAL excursion is fully booked. Have you put yourself on the excursion reserve/cancellation list?

Southampton to London is not that far..if you googled the train times & got into London early ( depending on when you disembark), you could have a few hours, as long as you ensured you were back in Southampton by 4.30/5 at the latest, however, from 3 to 6 is the rush hour, so it is a risk...if you are interested in history, there is much to see in Portsmouth ( Mary Rose etc) & that is not far at all...
