He really isn't given enough credit for how brilliant he was on that show. Once he was gone, it was utterly unwatchable.

It's actually insane how bad the show is with Ashton Kutcher considering how good it is with Charlie. I understand that a major cast change has its effects, but it was as if they got rid of their pro writing team and hired a bunch of first year college students to write shows for Kutcher.
@roberthermann97
@roberthermann97 3 жыл бұрын
@@jayvardy I mean they changed the tone completely. Charlie made that show, and Kutcher is a boring white knight, which comes through in his attempt at filling Charlies shoes.

I kinda liked the show, even with Kutcher. I stopped liking the show when they decided to adopt that little kid. That just destroyed what was left of it.
@ap001209

@@jayvardy Mostly because the show worked because of the family aspect. With Kutcher it was completely gone. Alan was quite literally just a mooch and it felt like every episode consisted in Walden reminding Alan that he needs to get out of the house. It became so incredibly boring to watch.

Jon Cryer said in an interview that Charlie Sheen was a perfect coworker... for the first 7 seasons, just like Holland said. But in the 8th season he started comming up slightly drunk and/or on drugs, and you can tell that there is something off in the way he looks and moves. Charlie Sheen is one of those extremely talented actors who just derrails from time to time.
