heres a few things that i do before firing up a car for the first time
take a few minutes and save yourself alot of aggravation

I do prestart check lists myself, and in fact throughout a build, in which I go thru a checklist of things that sometimes get missed. Actually doing this, just as admitting we are always learning, is signs of an experienced engine builder, & in pretty much anything.

Dont die on me i just found your channel a few weeks ago and have learned alot from you already just started in racing and just got my car built have holley dominator efi and dont know much about it but we are learning hope to be ready for next years racing season Im older and im a ford guy even though most of the stuff i heard you talk about was for chevy ls motors and the people who helped me with my build are also ls and chevy people running dragsters i had a 1993 mustang gt built

I have a Turbo My Holley dash with the car not running, it’s telling me I have -2.4 pounds of vacuum how do I adjust that to show zero

Did Steve build the timing pointer? I had Steve build me a 40k All Pro headed LS motor and he shipped it to me without a pointer.. I wasn't too happy about that. I actually told him he should never ship a single motor out without a timing pointer. wtf.. lol
