Holley restoration & installation part II

In this video the 650 Holley carburetor has been installed and the preliminary settings of bowl level and idol adjustment have been made. The vacuum at idle is 12 inches of mercury. The next video will be a road test to see if the 5.5 power valve and/or #74 primary jets need to be dialed in a little more.

Are you going to add a choke a manual choke cable? . So when you, start the engine cold .You be able to close the the choke blade. And set up the cold idle cam,. This will make ,starting the cold engine easier.

RICHARD maaske Thanks for the suggestion. However, this is a fair weather car in South Carolina and doesn’t see many cold weather starts. If needed I would convert to an electric choke but she starts OK without.
