Charleston holds such a special place in my heart. Last year, my husband and I cancelled our big wedding and decided to elope in Charleston (we’re from Ohio). We brought along our parents and siblings and had what we called our “wedding weekend”. We got married in the ‘Alley of the Oaks’ at Charlestown Landing. One of the things we did since we didn’t really have an opportunity for a first dance was bringing a record player w/ us and we danced in our room. Watching you and JD dance in the room made my heart melt❤

That Citrus Club view was beautiful! I’ve been to Charleston before, but I was a teenager and went with my parents haha so I didn’t really explore too much. I live in central GA so my experience with hurricanes are pretty similar to your experience. But the Gulf will always have my heart - its water is just too beautiful!
