How’s the acceleration on it? Does it feel like you can do much with the power it puts out or no

Acceleration is pretty good if you’re under 200lbs. I changed my rear sprocket to a bigger size to give me a bit more torque cause I’m 235 when geared up.

You’ll be flying with that bike. My son weighs the same @ 130lbs and I can’t catch him with my 300 2-stroke. lol

That's what I hear from people, I only ride on dirt trails and I doubt I've hit anything over 40mph.

California model 230r has a locking tank

Not mine I have the 230 abs and it has the locking tank lol the difference must be ware we live and in NC the 230 r don't have the electric start ? Did you get a skid plate with it or no I didn't

Thx, I did have to buy the plastic skid plate separately. They are fun trail bikes. The 230 is more than capable of what it was intended to.

Which handguards do you have?

Those are Acrebis handguards, I have since gone to Cycra wrap-arounds.

Which model are they? I’ve got a 2021 KLX230R with the oem Kawasaki ones on now but they are not wrap-arounds

Ok sweet thanks! You’re just running the stock Kawasaki bars correct? I had some Acerbis X-factors and they wouldn’t mount up at all with the stock bars

@@iiDeReX yep, still in stock bars. Planning to upgrade to Renthal soon and will probably stick to the same 7/8” profile.
