That truly means alot, Conner! This song is super heavy for me, personally. Because I wrote the lyrics and the story behind it centers quite a bit around my own thoughts and feelings. But this song is carried so well by the instrumentals. Aditya Singh this song is very personal to me. It’s very much about my decision to take on this band full time and really start treating it as my main career, rather than just for fun. And the anxiety I felt during this time period. I had a lot of panic attacks around the time we were writing this album. I was worried about money, I was worried about the band succeeding or failing, I was dealing with a breakup with someone very dear to my heart, and I have two sons that I’m raising. So it all culiminated into this song. P.A.N.I.C. stands for: Pain, Anxiety, Neglect, Insecurity, and Chaos. This was my life at the time and still is in some regards. I've been listening since Still Life. At the time that songs heaviness, in both sound and lyrics is what hooked me. This song is the same way for me, and very emotional behind a heavy punch in the face feel, but that's exactly what I like, especially from Hollow Front. Honestly, this is the coolest and most down to earth and in touch band. I have recently deleted my instagram due to family/social issues, but I was reluctant to because their activity and inclusiveness on that platform was off the charts, they even talked to me in DMs and posted peoples stories about them to their own stories page. In every way, their sound, lyrics, relations to fans and how honest and forward they are, they're truly getting it. Most bands and pop stars don't. They definitely earned their spot as my #1 metal band. I hope to see you guys live some day. you know I'll be front row.
