Yes. The hardest Final Smash to hit with in the game where it has a windup time as long as it takes for the knight to do his Dreamnail animation with the Dreamcatcher charm and can be interupted but if it hits, the screen is engulfed in Void, we get a brief glimpse of The Void given Focus, it makes three quick strikes where the first maxes out damage, the second is for show and the third takes them out (like Bayonetta but WITHOUT A MINIMUM DAMAGE REQUIREMENT).

What I LOVE about this ending is the twitch of the nail at the very end. The hollow knight himself was raised to be a husk. An emotionless thing capable of halting the infection. But he wasn’t. He did feel and he knew if he ever made that clear he’d be cast aside. He became very good at pretending he wasn’t feeling anything. So that end. When he breaks out, free of the radiance, free of the egg, free of anything that he had been raised to stop, to guard. He can finally show emotion. And he’s pissed.

Since the Radiance lives in the dream realm, killing her in the Pantheon of Hallownest kills her for realsies. Because she's no longer there, infection fades away and the black egg, sensing no trace of it in the chamber, frees the Hollow Knight of his chains and opens the door, which allows HK to walk out alive. I sure hope Hornet's gonna take the diplomatic approach for once.

when you fight radiance in the hollow knight's mind, you end up killing the hollow knight as well. in this ending, you kill radiance without even freeing the hollow knight from the egg, which means it gets freed completely unharmed

I just had a thought... what if the Godseeker is the reason the Radiance was suddenly starting to break free from the Hollow Knight? She arrives in Hallownest, her tribe having already merged with her mind, and they begin attuning themselves to the gods of Hallownest in an attempt to commune with the Radiance. Drawing closer to her through the dream realm makes her restless, and she eventually discovers the Hollow Knight's weakness.

Deep Focus carried me through my first P5 win here. I feel like there's this midrange that Deep Focus excels at, where you know the bosses well enough that the cast time increase isn't a big deal, but you're still not good enough to not constantly take hits. Being able to heal so much HP on just the first tank of soul was super handy for the P5 endurance test.
