I feel like no one talks about how skilled and fast Quirrel is in combat. Even at his old age (he says in the game that he is old) he is still faster than the knight and extremely effective as a fighter. He's definitely my favourite character, it saddens me that he's most likely dead though. Great animation man.

If you think about it... The knight couldn't defeat ummu if it wasn't for quirrel's help So technically ummu was one of the strongest foes the knight faced

Honestly, we are still learning animation ourselves. Animation is hard, but I'm sure we can all make great progress in the future. So don't be discouraged!

@@gaming_with_twins6305 If you Know Camilia Cuavas (hopefully my spelling doesnt suck so much) She animates Glitchtale and its a year waiting but that year of waiting is So Worth it tho (And The there The imma be real retards who stress Animators despite it bieng Easier Said then done and that literly Isnt Animation drawing each frame? Maybe you can loop smth but 90% of it has to be Drawn correct?)

This is very well illustrated and animated, not to mention a very faithful recreation of the actual in-game fight. The only criticism that I can offer is that the connected hits, especially those of the hollow knight, are lacking in impact visually. And I don't mean the attacks on the inflated uumuu, the lack of impact and the bounciness are certainly intended and beautifully executed, which makes me optimistic that I won't be able to offer this same criticism on your next animation. Well done!

the thing about Quirrel is that Uumuus' membrane was strong enough to survive any amount of damage possible in the game... And then Quirrel can cut through it in ONE HIT.

Quireel also had to get past the Many is Lords just like Ghost to access the lowers levels.. I wonder how that fight played out?

I don't even have words on how to praise this. This is so damn impressive. The battle sequences of animations, I think, are harder than ANYTHING. You need to put the character(s) in such dynamic poses, for the plan and perspective to always change and twist so it won't look boring and you need to know how the character(s) is drawn from said perspectives, and the backgrounds, THD DAMN BACKGROUNDS ARE THE WPRST MY VOID. But THIS. I don't even know how much work and time and passion you need to put in to get this shit done... Honestly this so inspiring as well, at least for me. Proves you don't have to be a big studio or channel to do something like this. Literally so good. XOXO and hope you two have awesome weekends/weekdays

Inaccurate. You didn't have quirrel just running around unhelpfully for 5 minutes before finally hitting the boss, after which the knight tries to get a hit in but falls into the acid and dies

Most of the animation is really cool like 1:05, i think those parts are totally awesome, i dont want to say the animation is bad, is really good, but when uumuu uses shocks and that kind of stuff i think it seems kinda odd for me, just wanted to point that out. Still good job. (sry if there are any grammar issues, i usually use Spanish) :D

No need to worry about giving criticism. We agree, the shock animations looked weird. The shock effect was a free download. Let's just say, Daz screwed up importing the effects in the animation and had some of the electricity cut out. For now on we'll animated our own effects so we won't have this problem again. 😅

If you equip shaman stone then a few abyss shrieks should do the trick quite fast, quick slash is also recommended for this boss. Amazing animation also! I'm honestly impressed! Really!

Rather than just taking the quick way out this animation is rather more focused on making it look like a real fight which is a very interesting concept considering that longer duration only increases the workload while having to still make everything creative instead of repetitive. When I said that I'm impressed I really meant it!

We like to stay humble! Its encourages improvement. Workload doesn't bother us, after all the more we have to work with, the more tricks and new ways to animate we find in the process. That's how we went from the Alatreaon animation, to Fatalis, to this. We have another project coming up and are keeping the same motto: Keep Improving! Still, thanks! Thanks for the feedback! I agree, we need more sounds. Is there a recommended place to get sound effects? Most of the sounds where clipped from long mp4s which was very time consuming. A much efficient recommendation is much appreciated!
