Thank you so much for this my dude, this is exactly what I was looking for. I played a bit of the game awhile ago, but stopped and wanted to start clean. So all I wanted was to fast forward the important powerups to be able to play, because you can't do anything without dash or walll jump, and then go on my own way. Didn't want to do a thousand circles looking. For anyone reading this, if you are interested in the same, I was able to just follow until 27 minutes, and you get all three powerups so you only have to follow to there if you are in the same boat as me.

They don’t expect a beginner to do that. That’s not the intended way to go. The method he uses here is a speedrun trick to skip sections of the game. You’re supposed to go down and keep exploring and find another way.

@jamiekomassa6522 just in case you're still wondering, or for someone else who doesn't know-- using the squint there (little green bug) is a speedrunner trick. It cuts out a lot of greenpath and isn't the intended route (I'm a bit surprised to see it here actually). I'll try to describe the intended route as best I can. You're going to want to go all the way to the bottom of greenpath, into an area with platforms and acid. You'll see a bunch of those leafy moss chargers around. Keep going left until you reach a room where you can go up. There should be a bench (behind a toll) in the room about halfway up. (If there isn't, you've gone too far; head back down into the previous room, and go one room to the right. There's an upward exit that will lead to a room with a bench.) Head to the very top of that room and turn right. There will be an arena with two moss knights (they have a nail and shield). Defeat the arena and leave through the top of the room. Head left until you hear Zote complaining; you can fight Vengefly King and save Zote or you can leave him to die. Keep going left until you reach the first downward exit. You'll be in a fairly large and open room; Hornet's area will be just beyond the exit on the left side of the room. You can see the carved stone in the video when they go to fight Hornet. However, I would recommend continuing through the room without heading to Hornet right away. The next room down has a stag and a bench, which will make getting back to Hornet WAY faster if you die. There'll be signs pointing the way to the stag; it's quite close. I hope that helps and makes sense! Greenpath can be a pretty confusing area, and speedrunners usually skip all of that, so it's not surprising if someone struggles to find Hornet's room!

A slight side track but still in the realm; could you consider creating a tribute to the late and amazing Kevin Conroy? He passed away last year (November), and was the sole reason I got into acting. I have a voice acting background and there are some preconceived notions that it's not as demanding as regular acting; but the vocal training itself and perfecting the craft may take more time than any acting school. l feel like he's a bit underrated as Batman (ditto Mark Hamill as Joker) and even non existent in the conversation. PS. You almost saw me as Leon in those new Resident Evil games :)

Didn’t know where to go because I thought that juggernaut guy was the one from the same room that I entered from the left side in so I figured I didn’t need to fight him. Once I realized it was two different enemies, I beat him and then beat the boss first try. I get it’s cool and all to show your skills off but I came here for two reasons. 1. The title of this video. B. 4K Edit1. Hmmm I took the ending like this The kingdom of darkness snuffing out the last bit of humanities light. Cause that’s the only realistic way to look at that ending other than just a Fantastical yarn of Darkness overcoming Light. I know Anime has done a bang up job of convincing us their equals. However just entering your bathroom or basement in the middle of the night proves it quite false. Jus sayin Edit2: by the way your skills are top notch. I was just expecting something else.
