Yep, this is an ideal strategy, and appreciate the notes breaking it down. While I don’t think I’ll run through the Pantheon of Hallownest ever again after I unlocked this boss, I did say the same thing about the Path of Pain upon getting through it the first time, only to die to the Kingsmoulds... Was able to beat it on my 2nd playthrough, so maybe one day I’ll do the whole pantheon again.

I may be a little late and there may already be someone who commented this already but another excellent healing spot is after the sword rain attack as abs rad will always reposition after that attack. Another thing to keep in mind is that the beam attacks during the climbing phase get increasingly more accurate the higher you get, so I would recommend only healing during the very beginning of the climbing phase.

Dude! I FINALLY platinumed Hollow knight. Can't thank you enough for the gift of this charm build! was KEY to my victory. I switched to it at the Zote leg of the pantheon of Hallownest and onward. That final phase of The absolute radiance is deceptively difficult. So happy to be finished with the agony of retrying that damned gauntlet

The bottom platform trick was a life saver when I beat her on normal the first time. All of the fancy ones told you to follow her but when I stayed to the bottom like with the no eyes fight I beat her first try after HOURS of struggle to get her past that second stage.

instead of practicing overcharmed, i think its better to practice on ascendant difficulty so that you can use what you will use in the pantheon.

@@bintavi7034 You can always overcharm using something that has no capability to help you, like fury of the fallen (since it seems unlikely that you’ll ever reach that sweet spot of 1HP, with four masks of damage and all).

I recently beat the POH, that's almost what I did, I just exchanged strenght and grubsong for long nail and heart, cause soul was never a problem for me, it was more just a lack of mask for the final two phases. Deep focus and quick focus is a very safe strat, but saying it's for average players goes a bit too far lol.

This is a great strategy even though beating pure vessel with this is also a gamble but you can practice him in the hall of gods with this set up.

Some other tips: The spikes in phase 2 can be ground pounded and they will temporarily disappear Descending Dark is your friend and can be used as a scapegoat in tight situations Spikes and the void only do 1 mask of damage, so if being hit seems unavoidable, descending dark into the void to save yourself a mask Pogoing the ground spikes will restore your double jump and dash During the climbing phase, always jump straight up first. Once you see where a sun beam appears, you can make the decision to proceed to the next platform or fall back to the one you were on. You have the best chances to win if you enter the final phase with at least half your health. Abyss shriek is effective, but you’re guaranteed to get hit.

Thanks for advise on phase 6! It worked just to beat her! I was trying to down pogo her before, but I ended up loosing the pace and falling down, but with just standing in one place and jumping worked really well! Btw, 4th phase on platforms is so RNG.

Well, guess I'll be trying this out again after choking on the boss for the 5th time My strategy was to spam abyss shriek and quickly switch phases of the boss but unfortunately the phase with the platforms forces me to either move like a madman and die or wait and die. Damn bro. I was initially thinking this build wouldn't really work, I just realized there's a bench before pure vessel. You can run the average quickslash shaman strength heart build, until pure vessel and absrad, which this build works wonders for.
