Great video dude! I’m really glad to see the amount of effort put forth for a debut video. This is astounding! Also I love hollow knight. One of my s solute favorite games. When you mentioned shaman stone catchin your eye it reminded me of exactly how my playthrough went. The game is set up so well for things like that to catch your eye right when you’re supposed to. “Woah, a charm that makes my spells stronger? That’s a lot of notches, but hopefully it’s worth it” and IT IS. The balancing of charms is great. You have just enough slots in the beginning for a few essential charms that let you tailor your style to the way you want to play. The way you get more notches organically while also having the ability to grind for some is *chefs kiss *. Glad to see somebody else appreciate this game the way soooooo many others have. Welcome to the club dude !

if given the chance to forget absolutely everything about a game and play it again for the first time, Hollow Knight would be in my Top 3 every single time. the feeling of satisfaction from beating a boss after trying for hours, the feeling of wonder finding a new area, the incredible music, the adorable art, THE FUCKING DEPTH AND INSANITY OF TRYING TO PIECE TOGETHER THE LORE?? everything about this game (except Markoth fuck you Markoth) is absolute perfection in my eyes, i genuinely don't think i could find a way to realistically improve this game if i tried.

​@@skeIIytron I was 4 hours in and realised that I botched the playthrough by not saving Zote (Personal opinion). I ended up clearing the save and called it a day, will restart tomorrow. Although, I hope you have fun with the DLCs, Grimm Troupe isn't that difficult, although God master is insanely difficult, especially if you try the fifth pantheon.

I hope Silksongs perform well. I still remember fondly, around 80 years ago when it was first announced, I rushed to the steam page to wishlist it. It is hazy in my mind but it already feels like an eternity ago, I lost that hype that overtook me back then. Ever since, I got married, got 4 loving kids and I am retired. The dash slash is actually op, but its hard to use while jumping, personall i changed the settings and put the attack button to be r1 and it was wayyy easier to even just fight afainst enemies cause of the jumping

I mean play with them in their speedrunner vs. hunter or their infection/tag games they play with their viewers/community that happens once in a blue moon. No pressure though. Hollow knight is great, but there are certain areas that are designed to be surprisingly difficult in either platforming or combat. The platformers get mad at the combat surprises and the combat lovers get frustrated with the platforming surprises. Sometimes. Not everyone, but I hate some of the bench locations mid game. It doesn’t really matter later on. But I really do like the scale of this game, the rewards for exploring, how long it takes, the punishing/rewards for getting good at combat and platforming. The little details and love put into it. It is truly a masterpiece, even if it’s not perfect.
