A minor rule change that I would add, is allowing Zotes to get abilities if all non Zotes have that ability. This should stop people getting softlocked, plus allows for the Zotes to steal credit. You could also add that a non Zote has to be there.

Maybe in the future add a rule that zoted players can also regain one mask by killing a titan. It would help them getting back into the game in the case they have already used up all of their mask shards, as well as creating a unique problem for the hunters; while Zotes are weak, it will be a big problem if you get killed by one. So, the zotes could actually create area denial, where they become the hunters as they have nothing to lose. So on one hand zotefying the speedrunners will slow them down and is one of the two win conditions, but at the same time those speedrunners will become a threat as they might flip the game upside down and start hunting the hunters.

@@octosaurinvasion in some games, that makes sense. It would reward players for getting good and not dying. But, in a competitive environment like this, it doesn't make sense to punish the less experienced players by making them worse for dying. If players who died lost max health, it makes it much harder for the less experienced players to keep going. It's like having a race where the runners who fall behind then have to put on weights and slow themselves down, but if they can't catch up, they lose. It makes a comeback very unlikely and makes the point of no return too early to be fun.

This sort of gamemode is great! The amount of cooperation can lead to creative ways to proceed, and the intense combat leads to great viewing. I agree that losing masks doesn't seem to be that fun - especially getting locked out of abilities when Zoted. Not sure what the solution is, because there obviously needs to be a penalty for dying, and I don't think losing time fits the format. Once a more balanced ruleset has been concocted, I actually think a sort of "tournament" would be a good idea - this gamemode especially (with the teams) would very much suit it. If you could get a whole bunch of HK speedrunners/content creators together, I think this would be amazing. There's a few ideas for a tournament format that I've come up with in the last few minutes that might be good, but idk you'd have to flesh it out yourself to see what works and what doesn't.

The combat seemed a little unbalanced, what with the runners having a really hard time fighting back, but I loved the giant vs tiny and the team vs team strats! I'd love to see more of this, though at least without so much of a penalty for death. Seems like the only reason the runners pulled out a win was because of mind games, and as much as I love mind games, I don't think they should be the only way to win.

This was really fun to watch!!! Glad to see invincible elevators too!! It always felt cheap when you’d get cornered there and have no way to fight back or escape. I really liked the different advantages big and small knights had! Big knights with their incredible reach and small knights with sneak. The fact that you needed to get abilities like wings I think also added another layer of difficulty that was fun!! I wonder if it would be worth to get howling wraiths so you could attack the big knights through the floor

Mad props to the modders that added the invincibility during interactions and elevators! It was something that always seemed to cause a lot of problems in these PVP scenarios, always causing the game to break or the players to take way too much damage that they could not avoid, so I am very thankfully that the PvP experience was improved in this way!

Its a channel joke. Fireborn doesn't "save" grubs/like them. So to keep up with the joke, the screen is always dark when he gets one.

This is such a hype idea! How you all win individually, but are forced to work together since you don’t stand a chance individually, but then you also can’t work tooooo much together or they’ll stack up. Really cool idea! I feel like the hunters losing masks would still make sense, as they can still be punished for overextending. Plus, if someone finishes fast enough (if the max timer was extended) and buffs up, the hunter might become the hunted. You could then transition the mode so that all the speedrunners need to beat the game for the team to win, so that then the buff speedrunners who have beat the game can act as bodyguards against the hunters who are only wanting to fight can kill the speedrunners who haven’t beat the game. Would definitely watch more of this!
