I'd say if Sly and Bretta count as deaths because story-wise they would eventually become infected and basically die, then you wouldnt have to defeat the Hollow Knight since lore-wise, if you do nothing he'll break prematurely and the Radiance would be freed, probably making the infection worse and maybe killing of characters that would survive otherwise

I did beat Grimm, also you can’t really kill him. You just beat him and he sleeps, where you can fight NKG, which still doesn’t kill him, just completes the ritual. Banishing him stops the ritual which is the main thing he wants.

I was going to do both the sealed sibling and p5 ending but decided just to do the sealed sibling one. Since I’d have to save Sly and free god tuner. Since after reloading a save it sets things back in time, undoing the deaths and ending so I decided against doing 2 endings. Plus it’s a confirm kill on hornet being locked up, since all the p5 ending shows is the void creature being set loose (doesn’t confirm void creature obliterating elderbug)
