Indeed. There are somewhat signs, in many men, not EVERY one....but still. Knowing what went down with him, and hindsight being what it is. Seeing the profuse sweating underneath his arms, though he was wearing a short sleeved tee. He was wearing OVER that, a very well made and stitched flannel. Too be perspiring, that much underneath his arms to the point - - that the 100% cotton flannel over it....couldn't hold the amount of perspiration, it's just not good. Not ALL OF THE TIME, but in his case, it was a warning sign. Just saying. I hope he had asked Jesus Christ into his heart, if he did, Rumble is MUCH BETTER off now. You can believe that.

you can tell pettis was not in it missing weight, stutter speech, saying people forgot who he was, that can tend to make you think you forgot who you were and have doubts and then finally not giving max a touch of gloves and sounding passive aggressive and arrogant a little

For as good as Max is (was) in this fight, he faced a washed-out version of Pettis who was unable to make weight, who broke his hand without throwing anything significant, a Pettis who already attained gold and glory by that point and who wasn't gonna leave a huge part of himself to win. As soon as things got rough he shelled up and gave up, just like he has done in later fights after the Max one. Max was much much hungrier and had far fewer battles.

not to shit on pettis but that's how he's always lost he can't deal with pressure fighters at all diaz,tony,rda and guida, tony in the build up to 229 straight up called him a quitter
@langtryvlogme11 ай бұрын
@@alexjost9890 what amazes me is how despite how EVIDENT their quitter mentality is people keep hiring them, fans keep watching like no bro I saw how you folded, next time I sit to watch a fight the LEAST I expect is that the fighters are COMMITTED to fight. I can forgive low production value, low budget, and unknown names, I'll watch anything as long you promise me you will try, even if u suck throwing punches I want you trying the whole fight, I'm not judging technique but I do ENjoy end find Entertainment in two people FIGHTING, not one dishing out damage and the other one just taking it and later folding. Examples of known quitters are: Anthony Pettis, Derrick Lewis, Charles Oliveira (in his last fight and many others before that one, excluding, of course, his amazing championship run), etc.
