Play LAYERS OF FEAR (2016). You liked The Medium, same game design team, 3 & 1/2 hrs long. Psychological horror, emphasis on story. An insane painter inside a constantly changing house, uncovering dark secrets as you figure out what slowly drove the artist mad. There's also Layers of Fear 2 (2019) which got a 9/10 on IGN. The second one has more scares.
