As a born and raised New Yorker, I must say I am quite impressed with how well made this game is! They got the subway details almost accurately! The subways have been crazy dangerous lately too with all the EDP’s and random attacks. Be safe out there my fellow New Yorkers!

@@dokisan931 Im born and raised here and I recommend you dont romanticize the city. Theres good and theres bad. You get an absolute terrible standard of living for the amount of money you have to pay. Its a city designed for rich people. I have coworkers where it was their lifelong dream to live in NYC cause they saw it in movies, TV, music, media growing up and are absolutely crushed and depressed when it doesnt turn out to be like they imagined

I used to be a night time Security officer for a theme park, guarding their new theme park in the making. As buildings were finally taking shape and safe enough to enter as long as we wear our construction helmet my favorite place was the hotel being on the higher floors looking down at the dark void of the park. Looking almost vacant and abandoned, as if I was a lone survivor in a desolate world.. Granted I have spooked myself several times cause of reports of rattlesnakes, coyotes and bears that we are still working on capturing and releasing to safer places. Other than that it was nice seeing the park being built having a firsthand look and enjoying the view before it opens to the public.

We all loved walking around the park and sharing new information especially if new closed paths happen and someone finds a new way in so we can still see the new construction. We loved our department.

dude, 1550 for an apartment in NY is pretty average for a studio apartment right now. When you start adding bedrooms I have seen just basic 1 bedroom apartments start at 2300. It's crazy expensive in NY. My cousin has a 2 bedroom apartment in NYC and she pays like 3600 a month. Innnnnnsane.

I mean work. Commuting from long Island is an absolute nightmare. Yeah I was renting a 1 br in a decent area in queens for 1550 pre Covid, so before it went nuts. No roaches or rats. Still took me an hr to get into Manhattan though.

@@WarlordRising not true at all. The closer you live to a major city, yes. But as you start moving further away from the major cities the prices start to drop off pretty significantly. I live about 63 miles south of Atlanta and I am renting a brand spanking new 2 br/2 bath townhome with it's own garage and front and back porch for 1100 a month. Something like this in Atlanta would be double or even triple that.

One night we were on the phone and he was patrolling the building he was working and he says “hold on babe there’s a homeless guy sleeping under these stairs, I gotta wake him up and have him leave” and he starts yelling “SIR, YOU GOTTA GO, SIR! YOU CANT BE IN HERE SIR!” And I’m like dude one don’t wake him up yelling at him, two be more careful than that lol. And then I hear him say “SIR BACK UP SIR” and the line cut, he hung up and I start FREAKING OUT, I called him back like 3 times and I went to tell my mom, we’re all night owls lol, and he finally calls me back after like 10 mins, and I’m like bro wtf happened and he goes “that crazy mf bit me!!” I was like WHAT ?! Lmaooo. He was like “he didn’t draw blood or anything and the ambulance checked me out and took him (the homeless man) to the hospital” I was like omfg he probably bit because of the way you rolled up on him I would’ve bit you too 😂

As a fellow security officer working and surviving here in NYC, I've gotta admit that security office is alot cleaner and tidier than most ones I've ever been in. Also, I can assure you no one is getting paid enough to climb down an open sewer in a NYC alley at night.

Im not sure how New York City is. I visited over ten years ago and went to Manhattan which never sleeps but the description of the game reminded me of my city. Once the streets get quiet the homeless come out and set up camp. Its extremely tragic. Its like they were made to disappear in the daytime and only come out at night. Also, fuck gentrification. My husband is a security supervisor and has seen everything. He’s seen almost everything a cop has especially armed security being one. Also I know what it s like to be homeless this made me sad I was homeless for a year like 8 years ago and it was so scary and horrible glad Iam not out there anymore and have a nice roof over my head and food etc…. 🙏 this game was so creepy they did a good job especially the vulture character it definitely gets to u in the physiological part and the creepy vibes so strong.
