BF1 is one of the most immersive, raw and gritty fps games out there. The atmosphere alone in this game is second to none! Incredible audio, incredible effects, incredible action. Gas, smoke, screams, yelling, ricocheting bullets. Moody as all hell. This is one of my all-time favorite games ever... and I have been playing Battlefield games from the very first one. If only Dice could get back to implementing this much love & passion into their current games. Sadly, that hasn't been the case. So glad this game is still alive and well! Been playing it regularly!

During the war many young adults and sometimes teenagers ranging from the age of 15-21 would immediently flock to the recruiting stations in the military. Many of them thought the idea of joining a war to be adventuourus and heroric. Little did they know they would be signing themselves to join a war that would most likely ended in them dying. They would Lie about their age to get pass background checks. If the parent were to disagree with the idea of a young 18 year old joining the war many of them would just run away from their homes or sneak out the window. Its sad but its a part of history and battlefield one definately does it well.

Love the Battlefield series. The main thing that sets it apart is THE SOUND. All sound effects are pretty much perfect, because they're super-high-quality recordings of the actual weapons. And you mentioned the music. COD is faster for sure, but it's like plying checkers as fast as you can, while Battlefield games are more like a challenging chess match while listening to some great fuckin tunes.
