I spent over 300 hours in this game plus expansions. Loved every minute of it. The setting, the gameplay, the graphics, the story..... and the horse that rode so well, which is a rarity in games.

i’ve played this game since it came out and i still play it daily. The best tips i can give are don’t show the side missions just use them to grind offscreen, level up your main weapon as much as possible, use one of the warrior bow or light bow, use senu (the bird) to scout all outposts before you pull up so you know what ur working with, and be sure to always loot outposts pick up the loot bags that enemies drop. you’ll need it trust me lol. lastly if you need money or XP go hunting for crocodiles, hippos, lions, or hyenas they give you lots of money and xp

Dude, odyssey was trash in my opinion and both voice actors I really didn’t like, the female one being slightly better. In Valhalla, it was great because there was no levelling system that affected whether you can where gear or not, the story was ok, but only the male voice actor did well in my opinion in Valhalla. Odyssey balances everything, great story, combat, voice actor, and although grinding is annoying, it never felt tiresome, what are you thoughts??

Issue with the levelled missions is that you are required to do other stuff in between main missions. That's an issue for some people but as someone who cant get enough of this game I happily do every quest that pops up. I then avoided the monotonous ''grind'' people talk about at the end and I enjoy the world they've created. The story was amazing in this game and the side quests were just as good.

@@akabongwebuthelezi Absolutely I would, the world they created is truly breathtaking and very addictive to wander in, the combat isn't really hard at all it just gets ridiculous when the enemies are too high level they basically one shot you. If you're intrigued by mystery and a great story plus a highly explorable map filled with interesting missions and secrets to be uncovered then I suggest you jump right into it. Its currently free on Game Pass too so no reason not to if you have that.

yeah definitely recommend upgrading gear, doing side quests really help you as you’re aware of. bayak is just such a great character, i often found at times that i could really just feel his anger and frustration in certain moments. just really connected with this guy.

LOVE this game, the story is really compelling. I know a lot of people think it's grindy and don't like side quests but personally I love the side quests. Most are pretty short and simple and most lend to the main story of the the region you are in and the order member you are tracking. To me the side quests me feel like I am a protector of Egypt and undoing the wrongs of the Order. I recommend you don't show them but that on your own time, do them all and enjoy the narrative they present before you finish the main quest in the area. I do all side quests in New Game Plus still because they add to the story

Same thing happened to me. I finished Ghost of Tsushima in Jan and then just got bored of everything in my library and disinterested in stuff coming out. I think I went like 3 months without playing anything seriously or finishing anything past a few hours. Then I played a little gem called Gods Will Fall, that despite mixed reviews, just clicked with me. And then I finished Ashen, started mucking around with AC Odyssey which I got on sale. I eventually bought Origins too and like it a lot better. You gotta be in the zone for it though for sure, with all the side quests and exploring. I say, just take a break bro. Read a book or try a new hobby. You'll come back to games when you see something that clicks.

Little tips from a guy who beat the game at 100% use one of your horses they are à bit faster then camels :) and for your predator bow earn the skills that allow you to control the arrow when you hold the shot :) have a good playthrought buddy this is the best assassin's creed of the franchise from my point of view ;) bayek for life 😁

Hollow, I have one way to level up incredibly fast although it makes the game very easy combat wise. I believe if you have the season pass for AC Origins you can instantly level up to I think level 45. I personally didn't do it because I wanted to experience the game in full, just a heads up :)

Boosting up to level 40 directly by using the dlc hidden ones would be VERY boring 😴 best way to do side-quests is just doing them off-camera. We will see 👀 what he does then.

Yo played this game when it released now seeing you play brings back so much nostalgia for me ngl.

There only one thing that pisses me off about this marathon this is not on hollow btw but he misses out on like 50% of the modern day storyline and nobody tells him like in his ac 1 playthrough there was so much stuff you could explore and learn by reading emails and you could get secret conversations with Lucy also in brotherhood he never left the animus even once I don’t think and in this game the computer has a a lot of cannon info about desmond and even a watch dogs Aiden Pierce cameo and no one ever tells him
