This may sound bad/ odd but Celebrity deaths don’t make me as sad as this one. Shannens death is really making me feel sad for her, her family and just realizing how short life actually is. I hope her family is holding up during this time. You can tell Shannen was a lovely person to be around and very passionate about her loved ones, you can tell that from the interviews, panel discussions, etc she’s done. This just sucks. My mom lost her battle with breast cancer in 2014. As a fan of Shannen, when she was diagnosed a year later, I was deeply saddened to hear one of my favorite actresses was fighting the same hateful illness. I was really rooting for her and hoping she would beat it, and she did for a while. However, cancer is insidious, and like my mother's, it moved somewhere else in the body and returned with a vengeance. Shannen put up a hell of a fight. I have nothing but respect and admiration for her. My sincerest condolences on such a profound loss. My heart goes out to all of Shannen's loved ones.

William Shatner has said many times he does not like watching anything he acted in especially very old stuff. It's difficult to enjoy your work when you are too busy being a critic. I'd be the same way if I was an actor. Holly is having what is a normal response to watching herself on TV. There is nothing sad about it, just means she isn't a narcist. If you watch family home movies and feel embarrassed when you see yourself that's pretty much what happens when an actor watches a movie or TV show they were cast in.

They had to let her go because Alyssa threatened them with a lawsuit due to toxic workplace environment or something like that. Apparently, Alyssa was the only one who came to talk to like their in-house therapist or counselor and had like a record of everytime she felt uncomfortable on the set, which includes her feud with Shannen. So after just rehiring shannen (or like maybe perhaps renewing her contract) they had to choose between her and Alyssa and they probably chose Alyssa because they can’t afford a lawsuit because charmed was bringing in so much money. Plus, shannen has been fired before (in 90210) so holly said they might’ve done that because shannen had that “reputation” anyway. Shannen got a deal that she would leave and let them put out that story if they continue to compensate her. Holly also wanted out when they let go of Shannen but they basically blackmailed Holly and said they’ll dock her wages wherever she works next if she tries to leave. The story is all on Shannen’s podcast, check it out the one where holly is her guest star (episode 2 and 3)

People are very quick to blame Alyssa, but no one should have to work in a toxic environment and if she did threaten to sue them, then she must have had plenty of evidence to do so. She was also the only one to go to the mediation sessions, so she at least wanted to try and sort it out, but we all know how it goes, people have their favourites and will side with them. It's just a shame that after 20 plus years after it happened, when Shannan, Holly and Rose when to a charmed event earlier this year, all they could do is bitch about Alyssa, like this is what the fans want. They came across as bullies and let's be honest, all Charmed fans wanted was for them to all get together and do another series or film.

Happrned with my mom too, she had a really good friend named Danielle who she was pregnant with at the same time (both little girls). Danielle died of a hemorrhage after having her daughter. So my mom made my middle name after her. ❤ they were friends for a few years but were like sisters. They also named Danielles daughter, Dani to honor her. My mom said she was such a beautiful soul and made everyone laugh and lit up a room.

I wonder if Shannen ever watched the beginning of season 4 at some point. Piper’s (Holly’s character on Charmed)’s journey as she mourned the death of Prue (Shannen) was so well-acted, real, and raw. Holly literally MADE season 4 successful and helped the show continue for multiple seasons.
