Twig antlers grow with the medicine cat, this is why when Leaf breaks the antlers it's to show her trying to destroy the medicine cat role. Because the prophecy says Holly will become one.

@@Topdoggie7 I don't think the prophecy is she'll be a healer, it's that if she uses her gifts it'll be used by sol..what we see is the prophecy coming true where she practices in private then heals sol because she's shunned away for her gifts, by denying her using them they make the prophecy of her joining sol come true; they thought the prophecy was her being a healer, it wasn't, it was actually her not being a healer thus forced to be one in secret..being driven from the clan and no one to confide in she turns to sol.

4:05 Bro it’s crazy to think that if Leafpool (at least that’s who I think it is) hadn’t shoved & pinned down Hollyleaf right at that moment and lead her to run away, she could’ve totally saved Sandstorm just like how she did with Sol. I feel like if anything it just goes to show how Leafpool & Squirrelflight’s actions to prevent the prophecy are actually CAUSING it to come true. If Hollyleaf wasn’t pinned & yelled at by Leafpool in that moment, she wouldn’t have ran away and found Sol again

I think that’s the point in a desperate attempt to protect Hollyleaf from Sol they end up leading her right to him They say people often meet their destiny‘s by trying to avoid them if they had simply told Hollyleaf the truth and warned her of Sol instead of hiding it from her things could of been different but they got so caught up in protecting her they didn’t realize how they were making her feel until it was far to late

they had a term for this when i was reading oedipus in high school -- self-fulfilling prophecy. king laius of thebes is warned by the oracle of delphi that his son will kill him in the future, so he abandons the child in the wilderness to die, only for a shepherd to find him in the mountains and bring him to the monarchs of corinth (king polybus and queen merope), who raise him. however, once he grows up he asks that same oracle who his real parents, and instead of telling him who his real parents are he just relays the same prophecy he told king laius. he runs away from home, thinking he can avoid the prophecy coming true, only for him to unknowingly kill his father during a scuffle at a crossroads and win his own mother jocasta's hand in marriage + the kingdom of thebes after answering the sphinx's riddle. oedipus and his momwife figure out that the prophecy came true several years later after a seer named tiresias more or less says "i know the truth but ya'll are gonna hate it" and oedipus pressures him to tell him even after jocasta figures out and asks him not to pursue the matter. momwife unalives herself and oedipus stabs his own eyes out with a pin from her robe.

It's where you're told a prophecy, and by hearing it you try to stop it which only causes your own demise..Leafpool and squirrelflight thought the prophecy meant if she became a healer she'd cross them for sol but in reality it was by denying her and casting her out she turned to the only one who'd listen (sol).

Well I mean that's kind of an issue too is the fact that Holly leave herself even though from what I can tell she heard stories about soul and as a young kid was traumatized by his ass and multiple attempts on her life by him until this point even him trying to eat her after she healed him should have been so many damn red flags that she should have been like yeah I shouldn't trust you but no she still did which for me just kind of just drills in the fact like girl I have a feeling you know what you're getting into like it does make sense why should be so angry at them but I feel like she should have still had some clarity to you know not work with him

What I think is cool is that in the vision, the first deer represents HollyLeaf’s full potential! The other deer represents LeafPool, no doubt, especially after the scene at the end. I love plotlines like this! Where someone's told the future and by trying to prevent it they cause the very future they seeked to destroy.

I love this!! deer have always been sorta creepy to me as they are deceptive. Lots think they are herbivores but they are intact omnivores, not to mention they have killed countless people by jumping in front of cars. They have gored eachotger for mates. Okay so I've put together the lore I can gather from the series (Bramblefur, Hawkstorm, Serpent Sol, and now this) Serpent Sol comes first in terms of timeline, followed by Hawkstorm, and then Bramblefur, and now Hollyfawn in which Holly tries to become the med app but is refused, as well as her powers having been diminished by Sol smashing her mark on the prophecy and Leafpool & Squilf covering her mark up. She ends up finding out about her powers anyway (Or as I realized just wore twigs as fake horns in hopes that she'd get powers), and follows a stream of blood to find Sol injured, and uses her powers to heal Sol. Sol nearly attacks but spares her, and on the day of the Eclipse attacks Thunderclan's camp (Or gets other clans to attack, not fully sure) and when Holly comes back Leaf had found out that Holly was responsible for the attack by healing Sol and realized her powers were at fault and she was already falling to the prophecy, and breaks her fake horns making Holly run away. (Which as shown by the grave seems to be a parallel to Canon where she runs into the monster tunnel and 'dies') Holly finds the grave and then refinds Sol, and Sol offers her the chance to have her powers freed and fully accessible if she killed 'the one responsible for them being weakened', Leaf. The battle with the deer seems to be an analogy for Leaf covering up Holly's powers, most likely creating a mental and less physical block, via the black deer killing the green deer (which is Holly's powers). Holly fights the black deer (Leaf), killing it and in the real world killing Leaf Sorry for the word vomit lmao, it's probably obvious anyway but I hope I got it right! Edit: I saw someone say Holly's little horns before she heals Sol are twigs meant to be like Leaf's horns and after checking it might be possible, so I corrected that bit!

I watched all the vids from the AU after reading a comment about the detail in Bramblefur of a black cat, presumably Holly, having flowers grow at their paws and another comment about how Serpent Sol smashed the green mark, and I went back to check and realized that Bramblefur only really happens because Hawkfrost/Hawkstorm dies, and having watched Hawkstorm a bunch due to loving the map I realized that Hawkstorm's death was connected to Bramblefur, and in Serpent Sol Ashfur gets the neck scar that appears in Bramblefur, and in this one Hollyfawn meets Serpent Sol, connecting them all together! As for how long it took to write the comment, idk man I just wrote down my thoughts lmao

I didn’t include Mama Told Me, Folkin’ Around, Travellerfeather or Crookedgoose since they use different designs for Jayfeather and Mapleshade so I think they’re in a different timeline. However, if I were to include them, Mama Told me and Crookedgoose would both be between CM and PS, Folkin Around at around the same time as PS, and finally Travellerfeather is sometime after HS

Deer imagery is really important to me, so I've been watched Hollyfawn quietly while it's been developed, I knew it would be important to me to try and get in! 2, 3, 4, 5, 7 (big preference for 7!), 8, 9, 11, 23, 24, 26, 28, 29, 32, 34, 37, 40, 51, 53, 54, 57, 62, 63 (strong preference for 63!), 70, 78, 79. If I can't get any of those I'd still love to be a backup! I would be happy to get any part, but I have a strong preference for 7 especially. Both deer and serpentine imagery are of my patron diety, so I feel especially connected to it. After a little while of listening to this, I finally decided to listen to other Family Crest songs. And oh my gosh, I encourage everyone else to do the same! If you like this song you'll love their other songs! I definitely recommend the rest of the Beneath the Brine album, they're all somewhat similar to this and they're all absolutely wonderful. Applied! Lemme just say, a Warriors MAP with deer heavily prominent is something I never knew I needed. I adore the atmosphere and the storytelling is just amazing! I can already tell this is going to be incredible! In order of preference, I'll take either 39 or 7, but I'm also cool with being a backup/helper.

I am SO hyped for this!! The fight scene at the end has one of the best storyboards I’ve seen. I’ve applied! Im the most interested in parts 5, 8, 10, 21, 23, 24, 26, 27, 37, 40, 48, 51, 55, 57, 58, 61, 62, 66, 68, 69, 76, 79, or any open part! Maybe I'll get lucky next time.. I have now sat down to draw new animations to show what I am capable of doing myself. My animations are not worthy on KZbin, because I do them for myself, not for someone. For such a Map, I would wriggle out as best I could. I would draw my part for a week, but it would be gorgeous. I'll be back. Maybe I'll really get lucky again?
