I was really looking forward to upgrading from my Mars 400s (1st gen non-pro version), but whatever Hollyland rolled out after is barely a step-forward. It is also such a huge disappointment that they discontinued the actual Cosmo line with zero delay and uncompressed signal.

Great video, thanks… Funny how, when ever the neighbours make noise… we always look at the wall or the ceiling as if we have X-ray vision or telepathy… I did want the cosmo, but i opted for the Vaxis atom 500 SDI, because in addition to all these features it also cross converts SDI-HDMI. Albeit with a short range but better or similar latency. Stability would be better on the C1. But in real world use small glitches happen on every piece of kit…

Hi, I did not understand about the power supply. Is it possible to connect both the receiver and the transmitter to the power for long shootings for all the day continuously? Or how to solve? Thank you

Hey Tyler, thanks for another great video! Question regarding cross convert…. Have you tried using hdmi in to the transmitter and sending the signal to the receiver and then SDI out? Perhaps there is no cross concert for loop out on the transmitter but I am hoping it will convert through its wireless signal…. Would love to know! 🙏🏻🙏🏻
@PenneyWood65162 жыл бұрын
When you use HDMI input to the transmitter, it can't loop out in the transmitter, but it can still output HDMI and SDI from the receiver. Hope it helps.

I have the 400s Pro and I'm sending them back in for repair for the 2nd time. The 400s Pro model has some serious design flaws. I'm hoping I can sell them when I get them back from repair and upgrade to these. But if this has issues too, then this will be my last Hollyland purchase. The lower latency will be a huge bonus for pulling focus. Though the latency is more determined by the camera's output. Could that be why you didn't notice a difference?

Thank you for this! I was considering upgrading from my Mars 400s Pro to the Cosmo C1 because of the latency - good thing I watched this and didn't just believe the numbers on their website. Is there any wireless video system in this price category with a significantly better latency? I'm looking for something that's good for focus pulling.
@TylerEdwards5 ай бұрын
Unfortunately there’s nothing in this price range that is near zero latency like a teradek.
@janisbrod5 ай бұрын
@@TylerEdwards I've just learned about the Swit Flow500 which is supposed to be near zero latency. Sure it's a little bit pricier than the Hollyland but still much more affordable than a Teradek.

Hey bro have you tried these with the hollyland app for latency? From my experience with the 4Hunnit S Pros, they do better with the app instead of direct connect to a monitor.

Hi, Thanks for video If the signal enters in hdmi on the transmitter, can it be recovered in sdi on the receiver, and vice versa? On the receiver, the hdmi and sdi outputs can be used at the same time? When the Cosmo C1 is used in direct usb on the pc without a capture card, can the hdmi and sdi outputs be used at the same time as the usb capture to send signals to other peripherals? Thanks

Thanks roe the video! If I buy it I’d like to plug it in my streaming 4 camera system based on atem mini pro iso, but only in one gymbal operated camera. Do you know of there is a cheap wav for that giving that same delay for the rest of the wired cameras? Thanks in advance!

Ok, let me get this right, you said it does not cross convert? but it does converts from SDI to HDMI, i use RED Komodo Just like you, I connect with SDI on the Transmitter and use the HDMI out on the Receiver, so it does "CROSS" Convert, i Used it for Live Stream both New Years eve and Last Sunday, i haven’t done any firmware update of any type, It may not be Bi-directional converting, so i think you are not going Hollyland Cosmos C1 a fair Review.
@thatjoecoutcher2 жыл бұрын
He was specifically talking about cross converting with respect to the "loop out" on the transmitter. So, you can't use HDMI in and SDI Loop Out simultaneously on the **transmitter** side. kzbin.info/www/bejne/fJXKfoOdiL6niKs
