Hollyland Pyro H HDMI 4K transmitter dead within a hour ( no video signal) sending it back for now

My brand new Hollyland Pyro H HDMI 4K transmitter died within a hour ( no video signal) sending it back for now hopefully it was just a bad unit. it worked for only a few minutes last night when I tested but within minutes it started to smell like hair was burning & no longer worked.

I have placed two sets three days back here in Tamil Nadu in India. I pray for to function with out any errors. It costs me around 800 dollars for two sets.

I have an old version Mars TX+2RX in my gear case but I don't use them a lot. The image suddenly froze several times during indoor shooting which is very annoying. I was considering to get the new Pyro. Is it worth it?

Sadly I didn't get a chance to find out 😭 I'll probably pick them up again in a few months if nothing better comes along.

I have mine today, and the Transmitter fan is so loud.

You can change the fans settings but it might not be a good idea lol I haven't heard the fans yet but I haven't tested it out much since I got the replacement
