Love that Hollyland have solved this very specific problem! I just wish more camera manufacturers would build this into the camera bodies. Great video ProAV!

If it's anything like the ease of use of the Hollyland M1 intercom and Cosmo C1 range, then this is also sure to be a winner and amazing value. We run Canon XF605s so this will really top off our live set up.

I'm glad Hollyland have released these - being hoping for something along these lines for Live Streams. Also Hollyland is very good value for money. Does anyone know if the lights from these could somehow be used on individual cameras via the USB port to show if they were recording or not? I often work with non connected cameras which I can be some distance from. Its often hard to tell if they're still operating and I have looked for a while for Tally/External Record lamps to show that they're still on or recording.

Sadly not, that is a fantastic idea in principle, but I think the reality of it is much more complicated. I imagine that every camera would need coding to give the same universal signal out over its USB port, and then a third party product like this would be able to do that. But currently, with every camera doing something completely different. I don't think theres any way of doing that right now.

@@carlyates2487 Hi Carl, thank you for taking the time to reply! I suspected that was the case. I do think the idea of of a lamp for camera hot/cold shoes is a slight gap in the market but I suppose once you've broken it down to individual camera makes or models it probably is very slight. I saw online someone making 'record lamps' themselves and selling them. It would be great if a firm like Hollyland would have a look. Still, very interested in this product regardless.

I don’t know of anything on the market but I reckon the most cross platform way to do it would be hooking up to a run-stop cable.

Hi, what is the exact model and name of your Blackmagic mixer? The Blackmagic Design ATEM Television Studio HD8 ISO is not on the compatibility list on Hollyland's website

Just bought this setup and it wont connect, entered in the IP address and everything matches but there is no connection. Has anyone gotten this to work on newtek, is there a step I'm missing somewhere? I'm getting ready to send it back since Holly Customer support isn't a thing, as I have been waiting for over a week for a response to my calls and emails.
