I really do too. I mean her affair with Darren didnt show in the best light at times but I think every character on the show has good and bad moments. Some of my favourite scenes since Mandy came back have been with Brooke and Ollie. She was awesome with Ollie during the busters trial even tho he isn't her son and her and Luke weren't together then. But she was with Ollie every step of the way. Then of course we had some awesome scenes with her and Brooke as well including this one. This was a wonderful episode all round.

I know this situation all very too well because I to have autism and know what is to be different on how I normally not just the way I interact with people but how I find it hard to communicate in myself and also with other people. During my childhood, I was non verbal until I went to college. Currently I have some amazing people in my life who were there for me, they even helped with me with all of sorts of problems that I've been trying to not only to achieve something but to help me to have a nice life whenever it holds me. After watching this episode on how brooke had to go through with her autism, it had taught me how to be open with everyone around me.

Agree with you she’s always been a nice person. Yes they didn’t show her in the best light during the affair but what character on this show hasn’t made huge mistakes!! And at least she and Darren loved each other so it wasn’t some meaningless fling that shattered lives for nothing. They seem to be working very well together actually despite all the pain they caused. I suppose some good came out of it. I do love her interactions with Brooke and Ollie. She was amazing with Ollie during his abuse storyline. And that’s tough considering what her dad did to her.

I know what it been autistic and I’m autistic 2 and I have a difficult time trying to fit in and I was bully in high school and I show and prove to people I’m not scare and I can do it and work really hard to achieve in college and I got great friends and family to support me and help me. Be yourself and stay true who you are don’t let anyone tell you to changed.

Having seen the full episode, I have to admit I missed something expanding the diversity issue beyond disabilities, and instead incorporated the latter with all other types of ways we human beings differ from one to the other. Cause at the end of the day isn`t it the diversities that makes us special? Unique individuals never to be seen again, for good and for bad. Whether it would be different religions or life philosophies, different tastes in music - or that some people are in wheelchairs and other maraton runners. We humans differ in so many ways, we are impossible to box, if we are examined closely, and every detail about us is exposed. And it isn`t the condition, interest, religion, sexual orientation, favorite football club, political ideology or whatever which is important about us as human beings, but how well behaved we are as people, being of use, support and joy to other people, more than being a source for worry, fear or misery. Diversity is the rule in regard to human beings. Uniformity is forced upon us by outside forces, whether it be strict laws or religion, traditions or general intolerance from society as a whole, or groups within it. A free society is a society where there is lots of diversity. Diversity being the lakmus test for true freedom.

Juliet from Hollyokas reminds me of The girl in my Maths class and Social Subjects class she is called Skye and when we went to the assembly hall and I had a panicked face when she was in the assembly hall and I made a face from Hollyokas when Courtney was panicked that Granny Campbell came back and sometimes I don't like assemblys very much at school and I take my ear defenders with me and sometimes I get worried how long is it going to be and I sometimes say How long do you think it's going to be? and sometimes my teachers and my classroom assistants don't know how long it's going to be if it's like for a few minutes that's OK but 20 25 or 30 minutes that would be too long and I might get bored and sometimes my friends are there I just want to talk to my friends that are very nice helpful and kind to me and I don't want to talk to them if they are being silly or misbehaving like for example if they want to repeat something to me I kinda don't want to do it and if they might ask me if I fancy anyone I don't wanna hear or talk about it and I might feel a bit embarrassed and my cheeks will go red if they might say that to me like for example My friend Lauren said to me in Hospitality she asked me if I fancy Aidan and she said Emily Do you fancy Aidan? and I said No and she said Yes you do and I said NO I DO NOT! And I might get angry when she might say that to me again and if they say Hi to me they would say Hi Emily and I won't say anything to them However I can do it on a Friday night when I am 16 and I could put some pop music on my phone to get the Friday Night Feeling that happened to me when I was at Hospitality I haven't been liking it very much on a Wednesday morning because Miss Wallace takes me on a Wednesday but I can't do it on my own and the next period is with Miss Hampson and it's always noisy and loud and it hurts my ears and it's kinda like Bullying and I have been telling my mum all about it during the summer holidays and when it's a school night after I colour in on Pixel Art on my tablet at 9:30pm and I go to my mum's room at that time before I go to sleep while my dad is out to his Ceillidh Practice before he comes home just before 10:00pm and my mum sometimes says Is it just too much for you darling? Are they teasing bullying and making fun of you? and I said Yes! and I have had a hard time with it every Wednesday Morning at 1st and 2nd period and I did like it on a Thursday because Mrs Robertson takes me to that class and after that me and her would leave Hospitality 5 minutes just before the bell just before my 2 periods of Art we would normally leave at 9:35am every Thursday Morning because she knows that I like my double Art on a Thursday Morning because Mrs Robertson is really nice kind and special and she is one of my favourite new classroom assistants up at the Communication Centre and she always knows that I don't get into trouble and she knows that I don't use swearing she knows that I don't refuse to do any work or throw it at the window she knows that I follow my timetable every day and she knows lots of things that I don't do she also knows that I always follow instructions given by all teachers and classroom assistants she knows that I show respect to both staff and other pupils she knows that I like to ask how everyone's day is because I like to do that every day when I come into school and she also knows that I can talk to someone if I am upset about something like for example Miss Dailly Miss Curran Mrs Robertson herself Miss Todd Miss Ferries Mrs Fleming and anyone else in the Communication Centre and Miss Dailly says that I can come to her anytime if she doesn't have a class on her timetable and Miss Dailly is never cross with me if I am scared about something and she says Oh it's OK Emily I am very proud of you because every day you keep doing your best because Miss Dailly knows that I try my hardest every day and she is never angry with me and Mrs Robertson also lives in place in Scotland that I love going to in North Ayrshire Saltcoats it's my favourite place in Scotland to go to because it's got the best beach and she has the same first name as my mum Karen and she is a mum to two Children Liam and Holly but there was this one Thursday I was coming out of my taxi because my taxi was quite late that day it came at my house about 8:20am and I got to school at 8:40am and I had to go upstairs to CC3 but the girls from that class in Hospitality asked me if I am going to Hospitality and they said Emily are you going to Hospitality today? and I didn't have enough time to talk to them because I had to get up to CC3 but they never listen if I am going to Hospitality it's time they started listening that I don't have Hospitality on my timetable because I no longer have Hospitality on my timetable I just didn't like how the girls were both being silly in that class and this was during one Wednesday Morning at Period 3 because Miss Sharp would normally have Science with Me with Mrs Quate but I didn't go to Science that day I didn't really want to upset Mrs Quate that day either I was still getting really upset about Hospitality and Miss Sharp said to me on that same day she said Emily are we going to Science today? and I said No!😥😢😭😩 and I put my head on the table and Miss Curran said Oh What's the matter Emily? and I said It's still about Hospitality! I still don't want to go on a Wednesday Morning and it's just some of these silly girls that are in that class and I get really nervous and anxious about going to that class because they are being very loud and I am always unsure about going all by myself and I am having a hard time with it with the first two periods and I get really upset and stressed out and at second period I have a think about going and I had this issue about Hospitality for a very long time and me and my mum have a talk about it mostly on a Tuesday Night this usually happens before my dad comes home from his Ceillidh Practice and I tell my mum the reason why I haven't being going to Double Hospitality every Wednesday Morning and I have been telling her that they are refusing to listen not following instructions not paying attention and they are having a bit of tomfoolery and lots of other things that they haven't been following and that's why I haven't been going and she tries to help me out and after I play on my tablet at night and I go to my mum's room at 9:30pm and just before I go to bed and that class is a little bit noisy and loud and it's hurting my ears because I have autism and I am struggling to cope with the noise in that class and I always turn around and see what's going on in that class and Mrs Brown the new Home Economics teacher would find out what's going on I don't think I should tell her because I am not allowed to get involved and I hate loud noises like Fireworks Thunder Rock Music Drilling balloons getting popped and burst Bagpipes and my mum and dad arguing and just after when the schools came back on Monday 19th of August 2019 and one of my friends said that I fancy Aidan because Aidan goes to that class too but he hasn't been going very much just like I have that was when the timetables got changed and all she said to me Emily Do you have a crush on Aidan? and I said to her No and she said to me Yes you do and I said to her again No I don't and I don't want to fancy anyone I only want to fancy anyone when I am ready and I get upset if they say things like that because I think Aidan got a tiny bit embarrassed when my friend asked me if I fancy him because I think he said Shut Up and Miss Sharp said Is that what that's bothering you? and is it like bullying? and I said Yes! But the only problem is I can't go on my own without Miss Wallace because she has Rory and Emma for Science first thing every Wednesday Morning and I need help and I can't do the cooking all by myself without her and I won't be able to understand what to do like put the oven or put the pan on and Miss Sharp said Well I think Aidan said the right thing and Miss Curran said Why didn't you tell us this from before Emily? and I said I was just worried that you would get me into trouble for it and Miss Sharp said No we wouldn't get into bother with you for doing that and I think Aidan doesn't like Hospitality too Emily and I said What makes you think that? and Miss Sharp said I think he has a stressful time with Hospitality just like you have and he gets quite stressed and upset and hasn't being going there as much and I don't think he likes how that class is a bit noisy because he's got autism too but you are right they are being a little bit silly and Miss Curran said It's going to be OK Emily me and Miss Sharp are not angry with you we will get this situation about Hospitality over and done with and I said I just haven't been liking it and Miss Curran said I know but did you like Home Economics when you first started here? because I wouldn't have started here when you were in 1st Year and I said Yes! and I did really well in that class and the best bit was it wasn't noisy and I didn't have a hard time with it and I was Chef of the Week when I made my Rock Buns and Miss Sharp said That's good you would've been happy with that and Miss Curran said Oh that's good yeah and I said And sometimes when we didn't do any cooking we would do written work instead and then a another week we do cooking so in like a pattern and Mrs Brown would have a chat with me during the double period to see how I am doing in that class and she was very proud of me and Miss Curran said But you like to do some colouring in that always helps you out when you don't have any work to do and it's very calming relaxing and soothing for you and Miss Sharp said I've got some colouring in books and coloured pencils that I could bring in for Emily and Miss Curran said Yeah that's a good idea would that help you Emily the next time when you're upset? and I said Yes
