Mercedes never really loved Riley she was still grieving for malachy Riley really did love Mercedes though Mercedes actually lied about being pregnant Myra tripped Mercedes up to help feign a miscarriage once she arrived at the hospital she found out she was actually pregnant she didn't know whether Riley or Carl was the father of her baby it turns out Riley was the father of little Bobby Mercedes has had nearly as many husbands as Elizabeth Taylor or Zsa Zsa Gabor Mercedes doesn't seem to be able to stay faithful it doesnt matter who she is inlove with the grass is always greener monogamy just doesnt seem to be in Mercedes genes
