When Sylver went to confront Marnie because he thought she was the troll, due to the comments coming from her tab, Sylver read some of the comments to her. In the one comment where the troll had said about when Mercedes cheats on Sylver, the word scapegoat had been spelt incorrectly, instead being spelt as "escapegoat". When Sylver and Cher went to leave, Cher slipped up by saying to Romeo to stop using Tom as an "escapegoat" like the troll. That one error on her part made Romeo put two and two together. That's why he asked Cher to repeat it. Hope that clears it up. 😊
