Billy Price deserves an nomination. Today's episode just got real to me when he was told the news noone on this earth wants to hear. I'm not going to lie I would be protesting again amputation my leg as well. I'm glad Juliet came when Sid need her the most. She was truly the voice of reason. Also I'm GLAD Ste laid into Jordan for what he's done. With help from his friends and new family Sid will get through the new chapter of his life.

I'm glad Ste is back, I'm glad he told James to leave him out of his jealousy games with Jean Paul. Jean Paul is the one who has to put the thoughts in his head right. If seeing James with Ste bothers him, maybe he hasn't passed his feelings for James ... Neither James nor Agent Kiss are the right ones for JP ... Ste that trying to help Sid, it's really nice. After all, both of them, in one way or another, have some bad laps in common, Sid is still in a bad lap, because of Jordan and Juliette in the same bad lap, it doesn't help him at all, and it seems to create other problems for Sid. .. Now we hope that they will show what happens next, in the best way and in the respect of who really suffers an amputation.

leela is at a family members house which is also why she wasent in the anniversary video to tom think the actress left for personal reasons or something not sure but it is realistic he fell over and couldnt move his leg and it was in the road pretty sure it could happen because drugs make you pass out so it is possible and is realistic

Its not shown in these clips, but in the show Juliet and peri speak outside the hospital before Juliet comes in to see Sid. They did not patch anything up between them, but they agreed their shared interest was Sid in that moment.

Since we see the bandaged stump both from the side, and the front, it also could be the foot of a stand-in who actually is missing that part of his legg. And using either blue or green screen, frames of Billy Price in the hospital bed has been placed on top of the stand in (who apart from the bandaged legg was dressed in green or blue, so the footage of Billy Price was screened on him and the green, or blue, wall in the background), so only the bandaged legg of the stand-in is showing, and it looks as if the amputated legg belongs to Billy Price. Another way of doing it - not using green or blue screen - would simply have been to have the amputee stand-in placed under the bed with Price in it, but with the amputated legg through a hole in the bed, and the duvet camouflaging that it was not Billy Price the legg belonged to. Similar to old style Casualty and Holby City operations, where an operating sheet covered up the fact the head and shoulders of the actor was the only part of him/her that was on the operating table - the rest was under a table with the middle section of a dead pig on it, and that dead pig was what was being cut and operated on on screen. But because the head and the shoulders of the actor was visible on the operating table, it looked as if the actor was being operated on.

Niamh Blackshaw and Billy Price are amazing. But I found it a bit comedic that Luke was administering CPR on Sid after the accident. In real life that likely would have brought the poor lad closer to death`s door, since a tourniquet to stop the blood loss from the overrun legg probably would have been what he needed most at that time. Since after the first tyre had fractioned the legg in two places - both sides of the tyre - the weight of the car when the rear tyre ran over the broken legg, would have crushed and tore anything that was under the bone, causing such a massive loss of blood Sid was lucky not to be killed from shock immediately.

@@emmacroker5603 I think it would have been more realistic if Luke had tried to stop the bleading from the legg. But the problem likely was the time the show aired on British tv. Pre-watershed, as the children friendly time of night is called, probably wouldn't have made it possible to show this kind of accident as it more realistically would have looked, sounded and been in real life. And the Corona stopping the second more realistic first aid activity: mouth to mouth to get Sid's lungs to breathe again, after the shock of the pain and sudden blood loss from the injury on the legg, the only option left to show Sid being administered first aid, probably was to get Sid's heart restarted? But it looked a bit odd to me.
